Re: Far Cry 3

I was hoping you'd get something awesome for taking over all the bases/towers but nope, finished the story anyway, was good but i enjoyed exploring the island and doing the sidequests more. I just finished the game and Jesus Christ. The ending was insane, this game is something else. (in a good way)...

Re: The Football Thread

Are they kidding? It would water the entire thing down, i wouldn't even bother watching matches in the group stages, instead i would just wait until the knockout stages until the real quality kicked in, i'm sure alot of others would do the same. If UEFA want the second-tier competition to be popular...

Re: The Football Thread

Yeah, but alot of the hatred is coming from Di Matteo being fired aswell, they just took it all out on him anyway instead of the owner who was there.

I can remember his comments about Chelsea fans and their flags, i found it absolutely hilarious personally  Chelsea fans obviously not so...

Re: The Football Thread

So Chelsea fans boo at the man who's been given a job to do and not the man that actually kicked Di Matteo out? Bizarre, i can understand Chelsea fans not liking him because he used to manage Liverpool but we all know where their hatred stems from. Of course Chelsea fans would never boo at the man t...

Re: Hitman Series

if your in disguise you just hold down R1 to look at the floor and slip past. It might be that simple on normal but on higher difficulties it's a pain, i basically cannot be seen by the 100 people wearing the same clothes within 100 metres of me, or atleast, that's what it feels like. It's almost a...

Re: Hitman Series

That's the first thing i noticed, i did start it on expert and thought it was a little over the top so thought ok...i'll go down to hard, it was pretty much the same except you got more instinct. In actual fact i found it easier to play the Chinatown level without a disguise rather than with one, si...

Re: Hitman Series

...and yes even Kane and Lynch. Same here. Might not be tip-top games as far as shooters go, but they do offer a few pretty unique aesthetic aspects, and I think they're overall kind of misunderstood. Actually been working on writing something for one of them recently. I think if nothing else, they...

Re: Hitman Series

Hitman was always destined to go down the same route like many other franchises have gone down this gen, 'streamlined', as they call it, i.e. Flashier, shallower and just all around dumber in order to appeal to the masses. That said, it dosn't seem to be as bad as i thought it'd turn out to be, give...

Re: Next Gen. Are consumers & the industry ready?

It's being a shallow consumer and hurts creativity. People like that need to stop playing consoles. Besides PC gamers are often elitist anyway towards console players. They don't go after true great new experiences most often. Just what has the best graphics Never said i prefer graphics over gamepl...

Re: Next Gen. Are consumers & the industry ready?

Hardly, the people who hurt the industry are those who continously buy the likes of CoD every single year and carry on supporting the dlc douchebaggery (the blatant ones), some of my favourite games this gen have come from the WIi infact, No More Heroes/Xenoblade Chronicles/Okami etc. I don't mind l...

Re: Next Gen. Are consumers & the industry ready?

Star Wars and Watch Dogs look ok from a PC standpoint, there's games on the PC at the moment that look far better, i can't see next gen consoles not matching even current PC tech however so do expect the graphics to be alot better as time goes by and developers get a proper grip of the systems, we'r...

Re: soccer

Good start to the Euros then, Russia are looking good but i get the feeling they'll struggle when they come up against one of the bigger teams, hope tomorrows matches deliver.

Re: What games are you playing?

I hated those two little brats in Lost Odyssey, great game though, one of my favourites this gen and very underrated imo.

Been playing Skyrim again, still got tons to explore even after putting around 80 hours into it, not to mention all those awesome mods 8)

Re: soccer

Not really, most people in england see them as playing dull football. They have had spells over the years that saw them playing great attacking football but yeah against Barca/BM they pretty much camped the bus. But yeah the press will go on about this like Chelsea just held strong against a 2,000 ...
