^Yeah, but my point still hold that they don't need to make it widescreen to pass as a XBLA/PSN game. They can just keep Shenmue in its 4:3 ratio like what they did to Sonic Adventure/DX.

There's no reason for them to make it widescreen in order to be a XBLA/PSN release, since they kept the original Sonic Adventure in 4:3 ratio when they released it on XBLA/PSN, as seen here:
