Re: Switch or PSVR

I wouldn't bother with it personally. Even my Occulus Rift is looked down upon by Vive users, but it's still far superior to PSVR. The problem with VR is that the resolution is low enough that you can see the individual pixels. I can see them with the Rift, and the resolution is even lower on PSVR ...

Re: Switch or PSVR

It seems technologically limited compared to the competition from what I've seen. Granted, PSVR is going to be weaker than either the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive. With that said, PSVR is still a huge step-up from mobile VR headsets, that alone makes it a compelling option for current gen VR experie...

Re: Yakuza series

I did every single thing you could do with Haruka since I wanted to platinum the game (which I gave up on when I realised you had to do absolutely everything the game had to offer including every heat move, use every weapon and other menial bullshit which would probably add 50 hours of pure grind) a...

Re: Yakuza series

That's actually a really interesting perspective. I mean, I'll probably still feel the way I do about it just because I am already so familiar with the series (and these two particular games), but that's still a really respectable way of looking at it. It probably helps that I never played through ...

Probably, people sent death threats because they changed the colour of his arms for sonic boom.

Re: Shenmue Blog

New post: The Black Car I always thought it was some sort of Mercedes since I saw a documentary about Japanese mobsters and the bosses all favoured high class Mercedes models. I can't find any exact replica but a few come pretty close in design. 1980 Mercedes-Benz 300D https://assets.hemmings.com/u...

Re: Yakuza series

It doesn't bother me personally. I see the Kiwami series as light reboots made as sequels to 0 rather than remakes of the first 2 games, so i picture Majima as a main character in that context.

Re: Random Thoughts

It's quite surprising just how dead this forum is outside of the Shenmue III forum. The whole time we were waiting for SIII, GD was the most active and now SIII is a reality everyone has fucked off. It's because rhe off-topic forums were gutted to make the site more ahenmue orientated not long befo...

Re: Yakuza series

I think cutting content from the game was pointless and a bit stupid but I'll agree that it didn't seem to change the experience for me. I never could be bothered with the hostess clubs either, except for Majima's sidestory in 0. Apparently they cut some substories too but the game has so many that ...
