Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

I dunno, I'm not sure I want anything else to be revealed about the force itself. Try to explain things too much and it ends up just being kinda dumb. Midichlorians, anyone? This. Star Wars, at it's heart, was modern mythology for the American psyche. Much like how Lord of the Rings was a piece of ...

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Don't know why everyone's so surprised about the crossguard lightsaber - they are a part of the Star Wars lore.... http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Crossguard_lightsaber I suspect it was probably chosen by Abrams because it looks somewhat Arthurian, and by all accounts he's taking the seri...

Re: Corey Marshall

I didn't think Ryo was in the latest SSASRT game? Would be a bit of a let down if that was the case. I was hoping for maybe a rerecording of Shenmue 1/2 dialogue or something. The fact that there's a non-disclosure agreement suggests that (a) the project is not common knowledge (b) important. Also, ...

Corey Marshall

Last year he posted a picture of himself back in the studio; http://www.seganerds.com/2013/06/03/ryo-hazuki-voice-actor-confirms-he-hasnt-worked-on-shenmue-3/ He couldn't explain what it was for, but did say; “The picture of me back in studio is a recent picture, in fact very recent, but with non-di...

Re: david deville Interview with Yu suzuki

Thanks for that!

Another question (I'm sure might have been answered) is, is he actively trying to get the license back from SEGA? I know there's the whole "give Yu the Shenmue license" thing, but is he actively pursuing this himself?

Re: david deville Interview with Yu suzuki

David; HUGE thanks for this :) we really appreciate it. But I have a question - did Yu Suzuki mention anything about Shenmue 1 & 2 HD remakes for the current gen consoles? In my view, the ONLY way we'll get Shenmue 3 is if 1 & 2 are remastered and released (and do well enough to warrant a th...

\:D/ :king:

Amazing news - we definitely need to take advantage of this rare opportunity and bring it to the attention of SEGA.

Re: Support Shenmue in a big German poll

A great lead so far - let's hope it lasts!

Even to get this far along is a great sign for Shenmue, so wherever it finishes is a bonus as far as I'm concerned... (although it would be amazing if it won, of course).

Re: Support Shenmue in a big German poll

I emailed segabits and seganerds, but I guess it was too late. The round seems to have closed.

Who won?

Re: Support Shenmue in a big German poll

This is a superb opportunity for some great exposure for Shenmue. But as Spindash says, we'll need every bit of force from hereon. If anyone's on the Team Yu facebook, that'd be a great idea.... as well as perhaps emailing SEGA fansites (segabits and seganerds are two I know of) as I'm sure they get...

Re: Yu being asked the wrong question..

He doesn't work for SEGA and hasn't in a while now. He has no control over that. He has no say either. SEGA owns all the rights to Shenmue. That is why there is the campaign to get him the license to Shenmue before he can even sniff a Queef of the series again. I wouldn't expect him to have a say, ...
