Great game. Anything by Tim Oh, and just for the record, Grim Fandango wasn't made by Doublefine. It was made by Lucasarts. After GF, Tim Schafer left Lucasarts to create his own company, Doublefine, who's first game was Psychonauts. [/color] I already know this. However, Double Fine is the only co...

No, because the lack of approachability is what initially turned me off.

I bought the game, hoping it would be good. Everyone raved about it. Now I love shooters, and FPS. I can't stand Killer7. The controls remind me of Resident Evil 1-3, and I believe those are the worst controls every to grace a videogame. How can the controls remind your of RE1-3? Those games use ta...

Great game. Anything by Tim Schafer is top quality. I'd even go so far as to say that he's the best writer in videogames. Ditto. There's also Matsuno, director/scenario writer for Tactics Ogre, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Vagrant Story. I'm thinking of sending Doublefine an email regarding getting i...

1. Shenmue/Shenmue II 2. Suikoden II 3. Metal Gear Solid series 4. Final Fantasy VIII 5. Chrono Trigger The only reason I wouldn't give Shenmue 1 and 2 10's is because they lack approachability and some of the gameplay choices (like the toy collecting) aren't really my thing. I wish they had more si...

Best adventure game ever.

You heard me, meche. From ign review: November 3, 1998 - Most gamers today think of adventure games as endless repetitions of the same puzzles and storylines pieced together with some flat screen graphics (or worse still, some FMV) and some voice talent. Sadder still, for the most part, they're righ...

Killer 7: why the hate?

I hope we all know about Killer 7 and it's controversial, messed up, and or unique gameplay/story/whatever. To keep the story short it's an on rails action adventure with fps combat. The game pits you behind the mask of a psychotic assassin who sports multiple identities which you can manipulate. Th...

Re: Shenmue III petition over 40 000 signatures

the petition that theonering.net sent to New Line about peter jackson directing 'The hobbit' was 50 000 signatures and it seems it really made an impact on New line. I wonder if Sega knows about the petition. Yes, Yu Suzuki once mentioned the petition at an interview . Uhh what does he say about it...

If the guy says in 3-5 years there really isn't going to be another move/plan. We're too insignifant to do anything.

Screw Shenmue Online. That game looks like crap. Not to mention it will only be available in Hong Kong and Korea. What the hell.

And Sega becoming a Top 3 publisher is laughable. Shenmue III will never happen confirmed. RIP.
