Wait I think Shenmue was first unveiled at the Premiere in Yokohama arena( Dec 98?) but was otherwise known as "Project Berkley" before that.

There was no sign of Shenmue III last year at E3 so I wouldn't expect anything this year. I was told by Ali who conducted the interview that Sega has no plans to reveal info any time soon. "That said don’t expect Shen Mue3 news in there(interview) and don’t expect anything firm in the short future."...

Yeah Ryo's journey is over and now he's taking Landi home to bed.
