Probably the Gundams, but only because Metal Gears tend to be a bit more realistic than most other giant robots, thus slower and more limited.
I like the Meatal Gears better, but the Gundams would win.

That is a good fight. I'd say Vamp, cause even after getting shot many, many times, plus twice in the head, he still keeps coming. And, if you've seen the pics for MGS4 so far, it's shown that Vamp will make a return appearance. So he STILL isn't dead. Fear, on the other hand, is dead and gone after...
