Would anybody here want to start a book club here at the dojo? We could take turns picking a novel for us to read over a week/2week/month period, whichever works best for everybody, and discuss. I think it would be fun but we'd have to at least get a few people interested and willing. Anybody think this is a good idea?

I've been wanting for a while to create lists for each of Sega's systems showing all the games developed by Sega on the console. I've started with the Sega Saturn because it's my favorite sega console and it's also not too large. So far I've completed the NA games on the saturn (I think... tell me if I'm missing anything or if I'm wrong) and I'm moving on to the Pal and NTSC-J games on the system. It's kind of tedious work though...

I really just want the poster. I found the Saga one a while back but the Orta one never shows up. I couldn't care less about the sealed games... or that magazine add.

Turn off the 3D and give the library some time. Before you know it games will be coming out that appeal to you.

I just wasted a Blank CD-R by just burning one track on it: "Passing Breeze" from OutRun. I need to go for a drive.

I'd recommend watching Whisper of the Heart if you haven't. It's my favorite of the Ghibli movies.

Pokemon has gotten better and better with each release and I'm looking forward to this one. They're solid RPGs and it's always fun exploring new regions and catching new pokemon and battling/trading with my friends who, despite becoming very different from each other over the years, can still enjoy the fuck out of some good ol' pokemon battles.

Oh, and I'm totally getting Pokemon X. That stag looks pretty cool. :P

I agree though, Sonic Advance kicks ass and is pretty much Sonic 4, but who cares about numbers and what they call them, right? A good game is a good game. I had a friend who was really upset that Final Fantasy 11 was an online game and that they shouldn't have called it a numbered Final Fantasy... as if changing the name would really means anything.

Just burn a PAL and an NSTC copy of S2 disc one n check like that. Personally though I'd skip the DC version and get the Xbox version. No continued save file, but English dub > Japanese w/subtitles.

I've been playing Okami for the first time recently and I'm about 5 hours in at the moment. It started off pretty slow but I'm really getting into it... hopefully I don't get distracted when Ni no Kuni comes out.

Hey guys, I'm sorry for not posting sooner. I'd like to get started with the book club as soon as possible and I think I'll go ahead and pick which book we read first. Then, we can continue on by taking turns. Actually, I'd like to give you guys some options to vote on because there are a couple books I'm thinking about.

The first is "The Epic of Gilgamesh" by Anonymous. One of the earliest works of fiction and is about a mans search for immortality. The second is "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress" by Robert Heinlein and is about a lunar rebellion, and the last is "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury and is about censorship. These are all very vague descriptions... since I haven't read them :P

Let me know which one interests you guys the most and we'll go ahead with the one that has the most interest. Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Just picked up Ni no Kuni today. Apparently only the wizards edition has a colour manual and colour inside cover art... which is beyond stupid, but whatever. I'm going to go play it for a little while after I find out what that banging noise is outside.... it sounds like a t-rex is loose in the city.

Well I just added these two things to my collection. I spent a little too much money honestly but I've been searching for them for a long long while. Now that I have these two (plus the PS1 promo poster) I have all of the Front Mission posters with Yoshitaka Amano's artwork that I know of. There's probably a gun hazard one but I don't really care, I mostly wanted the first game. Time to get them framed and hang them on the wall. Just gotta wait for them to come first... Word.

Breaking bad has gotten to the point where it just makes me feel awful and I don't really want to watch it anymore... well I have one episode left till I'm caught up but geez. From Season 3 finale onwards it's become more and more of a feel bad show.

So I guess Breaking Bad Season 5 episode 7 pissed me off today... or rather made me have a case of overwhelming sadness... so kudos to Breaking Bad for making me feel awful. I guess. :/

Yup, it's actually a pretty decent game... although I couldn't beat level three. You can also turn off all the adult oriented scenes in the options menu and play it like a straight up mech game if you want.

This game is pissing me off, but I'm really starting to like it. I've come to the conclusion that I just suck because I'm still stuck on the first boss.. haha. I got him down to barely any life and then died, so I decided to take a break from it for a few hours or so. The game keeps telling me to try easy mode, BUT I WON'T. Psch, think it can insult me with the easy mode option? Whatever, I will conquer this spider/scorpion eventually!
