Even though some people loved the crate carrying, I doubt they would repeat it in Shenmue3. I would prefer something different. But I hope they still keep the gambelling in it, with some new games too. And I think they would probobly keep the illigal tournaments in the game too.

I doubt Shenmue would copy the plot of Starwars. Ryo would most probobly try to disguise himself as one of the Chiyou men to infiltrait them, but he would never truely join them.

Well, everyone mensions that Ryo and Lan Di look-alike. Since Lan Di is one of the highest leaders of the Chiyou Men, the lower members probobly never even seen him, but only know of his appearance. I say this, because others like myself, would love a chance to play as Lan Di, I think this would be the perferct oppurtunity too do it.

I wouldn't mind playing the first part of Shenmue3 in Bailu village, then going to a more populated area. If it all takes place in Guilin, I hope you'll be able to travelle from village to village, that would be the perfect oppurtunity to use the bike.

Lol, I don't think they will actually transform, nor do I think Chiyou is a Godzilla type monster. When the poem says the stuff about the phoenix and dragon, it symbolizes the dragon robe on Lan Di, and Ryo as the protector(Phoenix) Ryo even has hair similer to wings of a Phoenix.

What would be cool, if Lan Di and Ryo fought, and their shadows was the silohette of a Dragon and Phoenix. but still remained in their natural form. Though I don't mind seeing a cut scene of a dragon and a phoenix fighting, for symobilism reasons only.

Personally, I love the idea of downloading Shenmue stuff into a handheld system, but I really doubt. Then again, anything is possible. I would love a feature that lets you train Ryo on the handheld system. Just think about it, training up Ryo's move while travelling on a train or bus.

Yes, there's no doubt there will be magic. I don't mind spectaculer cutscenes with magic, but if it's gameplay, then I would be trumendesely dissapointed.

Though it is good news that Shenmue3 will actualy be made, we all got our hopes up that the development has started--Seems not. Including the rest of the story means; the development will take much much longer, and it will most probobly be rushed and have alot of the events deleted. If nothing turns up at E3, that means we could be waiting for 2 or 3 years....

It's similer to what happened from the start, they developed Shenmue1/2 and possibly a part of 3 on the Sega Saturn, then scraped it all, and redone it for the Dreamcast. If they intend to improve the graphics, they'll probobly scrap the 10/15% of Shenmue3 that they've done.

Good question. I love it for alot of reasons, mainly its unique style and story. And as you said, the daily life going on around you, and I still think the graphics are great to this very day. The fighting is brilliant too, along with the dozens of mini-games. Even though the voice acting is bad, I love it for its cheesyness, it just give me a good laugh.

Nozomo, she's the only one he really cares about. The motorcycle scene, and the park scenes. The only reason he didn't tell her anything is because he doesn;t want her to get involved. I think when he comes back to Yokosuka, Nozomo will be back there for some reason waiting for him.

It was before the DC came out in the Uk. I remember reading some articles, previews and reviews of it in Gamesmaster magazine(best mag in the world) And I thought this would be cool. Anyway, what really caught my interest was that short documentry about how great the DC is(rememeber the guy talking about the VMU?) and it had a clip of Shenmue. I didn't know the title of it then, and I accidently bought another game thinking it was Shenmue :roll: When I played I realised it wasn't. Then I realised it wasn't even out. Anyway, I couldn't wait any longer for it come out, so I payed about £70 for the japanese import(which came with a Shenmue music CD) Thrn when it came out in the Uk I bought it again(Coz I can't understand Japanese) And the rest is history.

The Nomad Soul is a decent game. The graphics are poor--but does that matter? It's like Shenmue except it takes place in a futuristic city.
Morrowind is ok--lots of freedom. If you like the kind of investigating and puzzle solving, try Broken Sword one and two or Escape from Monkey Island--keep in mind, there not action games.

Well, I can't just say one game--Lol. But I'll have to say Halo and Max Payne--nuff said.

I saw the clips of FF-2, and I wasn't that impressed, infact, I was horrified, allmost felt like I was gonna be sick. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big FF fan, but they certainely f**ked up FF-10. It was a load of shite, I was hugely dissapointed that it was a very straight-forward game. I think FF has reached it's limit--the series is gonna come to a hault....

Lets look at some major fu*k up's, due to good graphics.

MGS-2:A huge hype, orginal was brilliant; put too much work into graphics and they mess it up.

FF-10:Another huge hype, messed up again by trying to show off good graphics. Gameplay sucked harder than a Dyson vacuum cleaner.

Spiderman:The first game on the PS was brilliant, sucked on the PS2.

Munches Oddysee: Wonderful series. Sequel sucked, but had its good points.

Resident Evil 0: Some may argue with this, but alor of fans agree: this prequel sucked.

Well, I'm sure I could go through more. But it seems that sequels that moved on to a next gen console seem to fuck up, because their too busy ''showing off.'' When faced with the graphical dissability of an old console, they concentrait on making the gameplay and story better, such as FF.
It's like movies, the high bidget films just show off. Take Starwars, the originals was fantastic, the sequels just show off. Same went for the Matrix. I'm not a fan of it, but many say the first was better and the sequel sucked--As I noticed, it seemed to be another excuse to show a CG art show.

Though not all games follow this strange path. Take Splinter cell--brilliant! Halo! But, they was fresh onto the next gen console. I think the game developers who created a decent game on a old console allways wanted to go further, so they bring out the sequel... then go too far, untill it becomes a extacy--they can't resist to show a amaizing graphical presentation to wow the audience--unlike before.

I'm not sexist or anything, maybe whoever had the idea of making it an all girl group *is*. I'm just not too comfortable with this.

I don't mind girls in games, it's just when they make the whole group just girls--which it seems so far. I'd allso like to mention I don't like it when it's just men in the group too--just thought I'd say that.
The same goes for movies, it's kind of an unwritten rule that you must have men and women in the group--and it works fine for me.
The films with an all female cast useally suck. I didn't like Charlies Angels--some may argue with this, but what the hell.
And your right, they do wear ''slutty'' clothing. When I play a game, I like to concentrait on the game itself, not on the girls' revealing parts--well, sometimes.

Who knows, maybe this time they'll want to end it with a big bang. It's possible, however unlikely, that Sega will bombared us with shit loads of ads. If they do it right when revealing the game, it be very succesful. Problem is, there is a predujice against X-box. I've heard people say a game is crap just because its on X-box. Similer to the Dreamcast really.
