Re: Yu Suzuki At Monaco Anime Game Show

Here a video of the complete conference of the Sunday March 3.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=il8bSiWu_CA

Thank you for the video. Now that I can hear the Q&A part clearly, I've fixed the inaudible part in my translation.

Can you please add time stamps to the duration of each Shenmue question.
Here's the translation of the Shenmue related Q&A:

21:24-TR: What is the most memorable game to you?
21:29-YS: Every game is memorable to me. But, Virtua Fighter is the most memorable as it was
the hardest game to make, having had to go through various hardships. Shenmue as well.

24:01-TR: Is there any regrets?
24:04-YS: Ah... I hate this (kind of question.) Not having been able to make Shenmue III yet, of course.

24:43-TR: Do you have any plan or project for the next-generation consoles?
24:52-YS: I don't have any concrete plans, but I'd like to do something for them.

25:23-TR: What do you think about using the service like crowd-funding, such as Kickstarter?
25:33-YS: There's such possibility, I think.
(Here, the translator took the liberty of connecting the answer of YS with Shenmue III, and the MC got excited.)
15:47-YS: That was a leading question, wasn't it?

26:06-TR: Perhaps you've already been asked this a lot, but everybody wants to know it. How is Shenmue III
going at the moment?
26:17-YS: I want to make it for sure, if a good partner is found.
26:30-YS: If the circumstances allow, I want to make it.
26:41-TR: Everybody wants to help you in anyway.
26:45-YS: Thank you. Merci beaucoup.

26:51-YS: May I speak a little here? French fans, especially, have been caring about Shenmue a lot and
always ask me about Shenmue III. I'm very glad about it.
27:18-YS: I sincerely want to make it, if circumstances allow.

36:50-TR: Now, there's a rumor that Shenmue I or II will be playable soon by downloading with PSN or Xbox...
37:06-YS: Where is it from?
37:10-TR: Huh? He (the questioner) says so.
37:15-YS: Well, I don't get it. Every year a rumor says Shenmue III is coming. I wonder who is making it.

42:24-TR: Do you have a plan to make Shenmue HD?
42:50-YS: The license of Shenmue I and II belongs to SEGA. Now that I've left SEGA, it's not my decision,
but SEGA's, to remake and sell them like that. It'd be possible for SEGA, I guess.
43:27-YS: I could make anything related to Shenmue series, though, by getting the license from SEGA,
if they say OK.

45:10-TR: Instead of a video game, will there be any chance that you depict the story of Shenmue 3
in other forms, like movie or novel?
45:24-YS: There will be such possibilities, I think. Even in such forms I want to do something related to Shenmue.

This is a cutscene you automatically get if you don't find the photo while searching the basement. It happen after the 70 man battle, before you leave the Hazuki residence.

Re: Funnest Ways to Play Shenmue

I like to get myself surrounded by Dreamcast nostalgia in magazines videos, music and more. I like to get Chinese food from Panda then sit down explore everything in the game more so than advancing the story. I am so immersed in not just Shenmue but DC as well and to me it's 1999 again. :D

Sony and Nintendo signed big deals with Unity. Basically means much more Indy support. Which I love. I just feel obligated to support indie games now esp after my big fuss supporting Operation Rainfall and Darksiders II. Most the big named in the industry have lost what made gaming. Re: NeoGAF: New Japanese trademark from Sega (Shenmue)

Whenever developers/console companies say there's an impending reveal and they use the phrases "massive significance," "unexpected" or "something people will be really excited about" it never turns out to be anything I care about or would even classify as meriting any of those phrases. There are only a handful of games that I would call massively significant, unexpected or something people will be really excited about and feel I wasn't just trying to attract attention.

Those in no specific order would be:
Shenmue 3/remake (duh!)
Beyond Good and Evil 2
Another Earthbound game
Half Life 3
The Last Guardian

And that list is based only on what I've read for years online. Aside from Shenmue those other games don't mean anything to me, so I'm not saying that's my wish list.(I've played BGAE and the Team Ico games but I'm not eager to play their sequels) I just know people really want them thus making their release "massively significant." It's no surprise if another Uncharted, COD, Halo, Mario, DOA, FF, Sonic, Lego, Silent Hill or a racing version of any of the previously mentioned franchises is made.

Re: NeoGAF: New Japanese trademark from Sega (Shenmue)

I'm a loooong time lurker on this site (got Shenmue xmas 2000 and was one damn happy 5th grader for several months) and am just now making an account.

My two cents; I've read hopeful yet vague announcements over and over for almost 15 years now. For the last 10 years they've been consistently disappointing. Plus, as much as I hate to admit it, I've never met a person in real life who shared my enthusiasm, or any enthusiasm at all, for Shenmue. The closest I've had to a Shenmue convert was a lacrosse buddy in high school who liked to come to my house to play plinko in Hong Kong. As it turns out, a surprisingly small amount of people in real life would like to play a game of lucky hit.

I WISH Shenmue was super popular because I want Sega to have a valid financial reason to finish the story, and I want Ryu to get revenge against Lan Di and figure out what the hell was going on with that sword and are those mirrors magic or what??! However, I won't even allow myself to think Sega is planning an HD remake because these hopes have invariably led to disappointment. The series hasn't been a financial success for them. It's a hard sell. In fact, I remember grade school friends laughing at Shenmue when they saw me play it. "No space marines? No thanks." Teenaged kids are still a HUUUUGE factor in hard core video game sales, and unfortunately Call of Duty, Halo and the like have a lock on them.

I want to be wrong, but I'm not holding my breath. My guess is Sega is simply keeping their patent fresh in case they want to release another stupid mobile game or shenmue online 2 or whatever misguided BS their questionable market research department thinks can make them money.

Then again, I was motivated enough to make an account on this website specifically to weigh in, so maybe I'm more hopeful than I'm letting on.

Rock on, dudes and dudettes \m/

Yokosuka Photo Tour

Hey all, I've put together a little photo tour of Ryo's hometown Yokosuka. I spend a little too much time browsing google earth daily, and they have a really interesting feature which shows photos of an area displayed over the map. None of the pics here were taken by me, I've collected them from Panaramio, the website used in this feature, and arranged them in a similar way as presented in the game. The captions I use are my own interpretation of what it looks like and not necessarily what it actually is. Put on some music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1Am9xYC7nk for the walk, & let's take it from the top.

#SaveShenmue

http://teamyu.net/SaveShenmue/TeamYu.png

We figured it was best to start a new thread that dealt with current campaign details, rather than expecting newcomers to wade through pages of outdated information in the original Team Yu topic .

From March 2012 to December 2013, with the help of several fan groups like Shenmue 500K, Shenmue UK, Shenmue Master, and of course Shenmue Dojo, we have been co-ordinating a monthly Shenmue Tweetathon every 3rd of the month, using the hashtag #GiveYuTheShenmueLicense. This has been supported by the likes of Sumo Digital's Steve Lycett, Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner, gamesTM magazine, 1UP.com, Sega Nerds, comedians Imran Yusuf and Matt Walker, French musician Kavinsky, former Puddle of Mudd guitarist Paul Phillips, Virtua Fighter composer Takayuki Nakamura, and the voice of Ryo Hazuki himself, Corey Marshall.

On January 3rd 2014, the Tweetathon undergoes a New Years evolution, expanding onto Facebook and Tumblr along with Twitter, using the new hashtag #SaveShenmue.

The aim is to keep exploiting the public platform of social media to raise awareness of gamers' discontent with Sega, and their refusal to fund a revival of this unfinished series and provide their customers with the closure we've been awaiting for over a decade. At the same time we aim to appeal to console manufacturers like Sony, who recently expressed an interest in pursuing Shenmue as one of its most highly requested titles for the Playstation 4, asking them to step in and help drag Sega kicking and screaming into the realms of customer satisfaction.

To help make Yu Suzuki's unshakable goal of Shenmue III a reality, we ask all gamers to follow the three simple steps at TeamYu.net/SaveShenmue every month, maintaining the pressure on all concerned. Please spread the word and be heard on the 3rd - Team Yu needs YOU to #SaveShenmue!

Re: Shenmue in Local Communities

Wait what have I missed?

Basically I had this idea of how we can incorporate the 4 Wude into our local communities. My idea was to have businesses, schools, and other institutions learn about the principles and apply it to their daily lives. Ultimately this would bring positive reinforcements such as revenue, competition, (business-wise) and even educate people on what Shenmue actually is while bringing attention to our efforts. However, there is a HUGE flaw that Mittens pointed out. Most people may be reluctant to do this and it would be difficult to be taken seriously... after all it's a videogame! Therefore, I've rescinded my post to do further research on how we can make make our efforts work for us--- we want Shenmue 3 right?

So let's segue into this new theory of mine. Hold on to your lace girdles ladies and gentlemen, the obvious is about to be stated. If Sega failed to move copies of the first two installments in the first place (due to expensive manufacturing, aggressive competition, lack of publicity, abandoning North American consumers, Microsoft etc.) then what the hell are we doing here? Surely, there are thousands of us gamers worldwide that do enjoy the series. But let's face it... we'd have to be billionaires to bribe Sega into giving Suzuki the license. Let me make this absolutely clear that I'm not giving up, and nor should the rest of you.

But here's the thing. I know some people don't put much stock into what people randomly say in comments, boards, and sites outside of here, but it's staring at us right in the face. In fact, if you go to Sega's facebook, you'll see scattered comments about S3, which is expected. But pay attention to what other fans are saying about us. Yeah, the Shenmue fans, "they're great, they're tough, they have so much hope, they never give up" etc. while others are simply disgusted and annoyed.

We can sign as many petitions as want, we can tweet, thunderclap, and quintessentially harass them to no end, but it's ultimately up to Sega to decide... and that's going to be a real kick in the nuts for them. Remember Sega was ALWAYS ahead of their time. Think about their consoles and the actual technology put into them. Think about the games. Then think about the money . When you invest that much money into something, any smart entrepreneur would be seeking a return. You not only want to gain capital, you want a cushy profit margin. You want EXCESS so you can keep production going. Sega invested too much too soon. And to top it off, I would say that most of us gamers could not afford to invest in their systems to give them that said return.

Let's go back to Sega's navy blue and bruised nuts for a minute. I bet it kills Sega inside to not only have to give up making future hardware but also having to reconsider giving up their golden child (Shenmue) to another company yet AGAIN. Remember Tomb Raider? Look what happened... it got ported to Sony. Sega never understood it's market... gamers are mostly comprised of people who don't necessarily have disposable income.

I'm really trying not to be pessimistic, this is pure speculation on my part. The only way Sega could ever, ever get Shenmue 3 out there is to stop sulking and give in to a competitor (e.g. Sony or what have you). Now that competitor has to wonder whether or not investing in this game is going to leave them bare-assed in the cold too. We have to be more understanding as to what's going on. Because at the end of the day, you never want to screw anybody out of their money. If anything, instead of attacking various companies, we need to become Shenmue's PR agent and see how we can establish a better selling point than Sega ever did. And even if we did, who's to say that we will be the model consumer ready and willing to buy the game? So instead of them relying on their niche market, we need to impress "prospective buyers".

So my question to all of you is this: who's a used car salesman around here?

Re: Review The Last Game You Beat

Just finished the final episodes of Asura's Wrath, and all I can manage is to say "wow."
Maybe also "holy shit."
I already loved the game, that's for sure, but the DLC is easily the best DLC I've every played. The original retail game was pretty satisfying on its own, but the DLC does huge things for the story, and has some of the most inventively-constructed QTEs in the game. I kind of always thought the original intention would have been to turn Asura's Wrath into a series. But now, having seen the true ending, it feels like any attempt at a sequel would be completely forced and unnecessary. It all gets wrapped up in an extremely satisfying manner. This was clearly intended as a one-off, and in an odd way, that kind of makes me like it even more.
Some great moments in the final four episodes, too. Episode 21 is poignant as hell. The part where Yasha is fading away, then as Asura fist-bumps him, he disappears completely
was almost enough to bring a tear to the eye. And that's quite a feat, considering these are a couple of muscly male characters who spend the majority of the game yelling and punching things.
The fact that the game ends with Asura beating the shit out of GOD is pretty insane too. I think it's pretty hard to dispute after something like this: Asura is the most badass videogame character of all time.

The only thing I would have liked to see get explained is just where the hell everything started. It's shown pretty explicitly that Asura and Yasha are basically robotic. The same could be assumed of the rest of the deities as well. So... who built them?
There must be some kind of a backstory writeup sitting on a desk at Cyberconnect somewhere, explaining how everything came to be. I mean, you don't make it a point of rendering the complex, mechanical inner workings of Asura's shoulders after his arms have been blown off, only to have it mean nothing. Maybe the story exists in one of the manga or something. Such a shame we rarely get that kind of stuff over here, because there's clearly some kind of awesome background story that just wasn't explained in-game.

Ren, killed by Ryo's hands?

http://cdn.escapistmagazine.com/media/global/images/library/deriv/698/698943.jpg

So, how about these concept artworks? I haven't been this interested nor pissed off in a long time. I'm vehemently against spoilers, yet hungry for even a shard of new Shenmue information. It's a shame we have to see such major spoilers before playing the game (IF we ever do see it in action), but it's oh so intriguing. On the bright side however, these concepts may slightly differ from the final version. Even if they don't, they're vague enough that much is still left to be discovered.

On to the topic at hand... I posted about this on the 500K Facebook page as well, but I figured it was time to reappear on the Dojo because this theory is worth spreading. My theory is that a deceased Ren is being carried off by Akira (Ryo) in the 10th concept image. More importantly, Ren has been killed by the hands of his friend, Akira. Firstly, at the top left corner of image 9, that's an alternately dressed Ren. In the background, a horde of people appear to be charging after Akira for an epic battle. Is Ren leading these people into battle, or is he there for Akira? Remember the concept art of Ren on a horse? It's possible that the Chiyoumen could entice Ren with promises of riches if he joins them. I would say he's there to support Akira, but who knows. They succeed in this battle apparently, defeating Lan Di as Yu Suzuki so wonderfully spoiled for us. That's assuming Lan Di didn't already meet his demise long before this scene.

http://cdn.escapistmagazine.com/media/global/images/library/deriv/698/698955.jpg

So what next? As you can see by the map, this epic battle depicted in image 9 occurs somewhere in Western China. In concept image 10, Akira is holding someone's apparent lifeless body. I'm convinced by the clothing that it's Ren as seen in image 9, minus the bandana. If you'll notice, Akira is now ironically wearing a white headband (to honor his former friend?). What happened? If the epic battle is over and Ren didn't perish there, what killed him in the following chapter 10 that appears to take place far away near Beijing (?). I'm thinking after Lan Di's defeat, Ren and Ryo now have access to both mirrors, and Ren's desire to unlock the treasures of the Qing Dynasty overcomes him. According to Master Chen, there will be trouble if those two mirrors come together. Whether that's in the form of a mythical beast resurrecting on Earth, or that's simply a metaphor for something else very grim, I think it's something that needs to be avoided. Akira may have no choice but to stop Ren, which is why he's still honoring his friend with the headband, and the fact that he's clasping his body doesn't signify a hate-filled battle.

If you'll remember, there's a flashback scene in Shenmue I where little Ryo gets into a fight with a friend at school. Iwao tells him, "A friend you can trust is a true friend indeed." I believe this flashback has a lot of significance, since everyone warns Ryo that Ren isn't exactly trustworthy. It shows in his incessant talk of money, and his giddiness towards the Qing Dynasty treasure. It's obvious that Ryo and Ren have grown closer by the end of Shenmue II, but Ren still may not be the most honest and loyal friend in the world. Thoughts?

Re: Hardware and Techniques for Video Capturing / Screenshot

Yeah, I'm pretty adept at this stuff. Been capturing footage for some years now.

First things first, I have a Hauppauge 1212 HD-PVR for capturing footage from newer systems.

http://oi62.tinypic.com/2dgs7b8.jpg http://oi58.tinypic.com/x6g8cw.jpg

Many people might tell you that you'd be better off getting a capture device that supports actual HDMI hookups, while this one only supports component cables. But the benefit here is that it's more versatile. Not only do newer systems (PS3, 360, Wii; not sure on the newest ones) support component hookups, but the PS2 and original Xbox do as well (the Gamecube does too, but it seems kind of hard to even find a reasonably-priced GC component cable).

Now, you'll also see that there are composite and s-video hookups on the front of it; ignore those. I've tried hooking up my older systems through there, and the signals craps out every time, making recording impossible.
For older systems, I still use my old Pinnacle capture device that I got years ago (which comes together in a set with some really great editing software in the Studio MovieBox Ultimate Collection .

http://oi60.tinypic.com/3497zf5.jpg

This one only supports composite AV and s-video hookups, and it's prefect for systems like the Genesis, SNES, or any other old ones. It'll also works with old camcorders or VCRs, so those videos you want to convert would work with this.
And I still, to this day, use the same editing program that comes with it, even though it's technically outdated. Great program, lots of good effects, and it's easy as hell to use.

One of the biggest headaches I've experienced with all this stuff is in getting the best quality possible out of them. Something to keep in mind is that when using these capture devices, the recorded video will only be as big as the console outputs; you can't choose how big the video will be. Older systems actually put out a pretty small resolution, but it gets stretched to fit tvs and you can't tell. Once you see it on a computer screen, however, the lack of quality becomes even more apparent. Stretching it out will generally make it look blurry and ugly.
The best way to get around this (and this just applies to the older systems) is to record in s-video, for one thing, since it offers a much crisper picture quality than the usual composite AV cables do.
The SNES is interesting, because it uses the exact same hookup cables that the Gamecube does, so in that case it's easy to find an s-video cable for it.
Something like the Genesis, however, is a little more irritating, because the system was never equipped for s-video. There are folks out there, though, that can do mods to remedy this. I bought a modded s-video capable Genesis on ebay a couple years back, and it works brilliantly. Even better, the modder included a region switch, so it also works with Japanese games as well.
Anyway, once you have s-video hookups, it's good to record your videos in mpeg2 format. Mpeg2 retains a really high level of picture quality, so even if you stretch the video out, the pixels sort of... retain their individuality, I guess, instead of blurring, so the picture remains crisp and pretty.

As an odd side-note (and something I've only gotten around to recently), if you want the best quality out of PS2 game, in particular, it's best to get an old fat PS3 (60gb or 80gb) which supports PS2 backwards compatibility (you'll know if it's bc if it has four USB ports; newer ones, and older non-bc ones, only have two). The old PS3s actually upscale PS2 games into HD sizes, meaning your resulting video will be much bigger than if you were to record through a PS2.
Likewise, PS1 games are compatible with all PS3s, and get upscaled in the same way.
So really, if you want to record any Sony games, from the PS1 up through the PS3, you just need a good backwards compatible PS3. Makes things easy (though those old systems are prone to eventually dying, so you have to be careful).

I'm theorizing at the moment that the 360 might work the same way... I haven't been able to try out the backwards compatibility with original Xbox games, because I have the most barebones 360 possible, and need an external hard drive in order to try it. One day I'll get to it. Hopefully it'll shoot the games into HD the way the PS3 can, so then I'll be able to record beauties like Otogi, Crimson Sea, or Jet Set Radio Future in awesome quality. One of these days...

Let's see... I'm not sure what else to add. If you have any questions, just post it here. I've run into so many roadblocks and found so many solutions to them that I'll likely have an answer.
Video capture can be kind of pricey, but it's satisfying when you start getting the results you want.

Re: Random Thoughts

I use Yahoo for my email, and it seems like every time I go to check it, I'm assaulted by idiotic news stories on the front page. Usually it's all just dumb celebrity gossip shit, but today I was hit by not one, but two news stories that encapsulated so perfectly just how stupidly, ridiculously sensitive people have become these days. And I usually hate it every time someone says that dumb, played-out "I don't want to live on this planet anymore" internet thing (it reeks of depressive teenagers), but I'm of a similar mind right now. I'm disappointed in how pathetic the human race has become, that people get so upset over completely inconsequential things. And you could say "it's not everyone, it's just a couple news stories trying to generate views." In theory that should be true, but I've seen and heard this kind of stupid shit elsewhere too, in different situations, and it seems like nowadays it really is normal for people to be this pathetic.

First, it was yet another story about Jonah Hill, how he referred to a paparazzi as a faggot on the Howard Stern show, and how people are all up in arms about him using that word . Note that this has been going for several days, seeing more stories on the exact same subject which doesn't fucking matter because dude, that paparazzi was probably being a total faggot.
But this newest story was special, because the title didn't just say that he said an off word; it referred to his one-time use of it as an "anti-gay outburst," blowing it up as if they have no understanding of the actual situation.
This has prompted me to start using the word "faggot" much more liberally in my daily life. So stop being a bunch of faggy faggots, you faggoty fags, or I'll totally call you out on it. Faggots. I'm also going to say "gay" to reflect my distaste toward things. As in "this whole thing is so gay." Also retarded. People are sensitive about that too, right? That's so retarded.

The second totally gay, retarded, faggoty article I saw was lambasting Louie, a really great, off-kilter, borderline artistic comedy series created by and starring Louis CK, for having featured a "rape scene." I don't know if anyone else watches this show, but it's fantastic. One of the most creatively-hilarious shows ever made. The scene in question features Louie fumbling around with a woman he's known for most of the series, who he's always wanted a relationship with. But she's a very abrasive, standoffish type, so nothing ever materialized. So a couple episodes back, she says she might be willing to pursue a boy-girl thing with him, even though she thinks he's gross. So back to the scene, he's stumbling around his apartment with her, trying to get a kiss, and she keeps pulling away trying to avoid it. There's no animosity on his end, he's not angry or hitting her or causing any damage, he just wants a kiss. It's cartoonish. It's like Pepe Le Pew. But she's the type that's completely opposed to opening herself up to anyone, so she's resisting. At one point she actually says "This would be rape if you weren't so stupid," and it's easily one of the biggest laugh-out-loud moments in the episode. Eventually she concedes, and purses her lips together really tight while he gives her a single peck. She leaves, after which he fist bumps and say "Yesssss," like he's just had some kind of big-pimpin' victory (another of the funniest moments of the episode). The whole thing is a continuation of a conversation they were having earlier on.
So instead of paying attention to the history and relationship between these characters, instead of understanding the show and its quirkiness, people have jumped on it for having the main character apparently commit "sexual assault" on someone. It's like, so now we have something called "rape culture" (a term I still don't understand at all), but to counter that we have "'people who are overly sensitive to rape, even when it isn't present' culture." This shit is absolutely silly. And retarded.

Re: What if Shenmue games had continued to be made?

We certainly would have alot more merchandise to collect. We'd have a fanbase that at this point would be looking to Yu Suzuki for what next big follow up IP he's working on. We'd all certainly have alot more respect in the gaming community. We wouldnt have ignorant people out there who think the game is about sailors and cats.

Re: How To Find A Birthday Present

You should have a better idea of your friends interests than we do. Post that question to yourself. :P I suppose money is always a welcome gift, but don't bother with gift cards. People act like gift cards are more "thoughtful". But really, all you're doing is giving someone something that fills the same purpose as cash, only not as well.

Re: What if Shenmue games had continued to be made?

We would surely have known the joys of playing a Shenmue "water level." Water levels are notoriously hard levels to play.

But in all seriousness I think the series would be well finished by now. And depending on how much success we're hypothetically giving the series it could have altered the future of video games more than just QTEs. I still think Shenmue was cutting edge in the way Yu created a world and allowed the player to explore it. The ability to go up to any door and at least knock or open any cabinet was fascinating to me. It added nothing to the story but it really enhanced the immersion in the world. Today's video game culture has to have the protagonist with a gun, super powers or a fast car. I thought following leads and finding clues in Shenmue was exhilarating. No super powers required.

Another question that begs asking is: When Ryo's journey was finished and his father's death had been avenged, would Sega/Yu have ended the Shenmue series or would they come up with some new adventure for Ryo to go on? It seems like now days video game/movie/book/TV show producers can't let a series end. They either make up new stories or do prequels or whatever it takes to get another paycheck. Let's just take our hypothetical to the extreme...say Shenmue became wildly popular and its popularity rivaled Final Fantasy, GTA or Uncharted. Could Sega just let the story end? Would Wong have taken Ryo's mantel and go on some grand adventure? Would Ryo go to Canada to find Nozomi only to discover she's been taken by whoever takes people in Canada? Or would we play from a villain's perspective and see Chai live out his dream of playing Gollum in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings?

Re: Things you just noticed (recent playthroughs)

I think this is probably just an over observation on my end, so if this sounds stupid I apologize. But after Shenmue 1's opening scene I noticed something a bit peculiar. As most of us know, there is a letter in Iwao's room to Ryo. Ryo concludes that his father must have known Lan Di was coming for him. But in the opening cinematic when Lan Di brings up Sun Ming Zhao, Iwao is REALLY surprised when he realizes who Lan Di really is. I kind of just feel like Iwao was expecting someone else to come for the mirrors, but not Sun Ming Zhao's kid. A different member of the Chi You Men? (perhaps the old man?) No, I'm not trying to suggest a new theory or anything, just something I've personally noticed over the last few months or so. Thoughts guys?
