Perennial IGF favourite Limbo is finally looking to release as the kickoff to this year's Summer of Arcade.
First impressions point to its similarity to the games of Éric Chàhi, as its gloomy use of light and faint colours, tentacle-based mayhem, boyish figure and constant deaths should remind you of Another World and Heart of Darkness, with the notable absence of weapons.
One way or another this seems like one of the best XBLA efforts since Braid (until Hydrophobia doesn't come out) and perhaps one of the best ever (unfortunately, that's hardly a feat!)
Denmark-based Playdead's first game is coming 21st July.
