I know this has limited appeal (for now, considering not many people here I think read french), but Pix'n Love Editions are publishing The History of Sonic the Hedgehog on book, in collaboration with SEGA Japan.
If you click below you can see a sneak preview of said book, which is taking preorders.

Thankfully, pix'n love have started publishing books in english now, so I believe in a few months next year, this'll come out again.

Played to death on Sega CD and Gamecube. About the only thing that could make it worth it for me would be the inclusion of the original soundtrack. :(

The game has actually been out for almost a month because Gamestop got it as an exclusive on their new branded tablets, and that version has tails as a playable character and selectable soundtrack.

I have the JOST and TBH the opening song sucks ass. The US version was better. JOST is not what it's cracked out to be. It has some nice stuff and soem lousy stuff. About even with the US OST

I agree, I mean I don't hate "Toot toot Sonic Warrior" but I freaking LOVE "Sonic Boom" The JOST also seems really really out of place with some stages.
