man, i thought the NES was the coolest looking thing ever when it came out. shows how lame we were back then. Now that i think about it, the Atari was hiddeous too.

Which Atari? 2600, 5200 or 7800? I think the 2600 was horrible. But the 7800
looked cool.

Sorry I just never liked the looks of the famicom esp with that hidious gold and red.....I do not like the color red that much and I REALLY don't like the color gold.

Hmm...I think the worst looking would have to be the famicom. Although, the Xbox is also pretty down there. It's looks are analagous to a clunky station wagon or minivan.

Best looking....PS2 and black Gamecube. I think purple is ugly. The Gamecube would have been better had it used a metallic finish in the front port instead of dull grey plastic as well as losing the bulky power supply. The PS2, I like the sharp angular design and it still looks good today.

Best: Dreamcast, Mega Drive MK2 (aka european Genesis; see pic below), PSOne, Saturn.
Worst: PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, N64.

Thats the MegadriveII.
When the Megadrive was released in europe it looked the same as the american version. (exept it sayd megadrive instead of genesis)

If the Saturn was a tad smaller,then I'd say that it would be the best looking but I like the look of Dreamcast and black Gamecube aswell.

That, and the american version was blue instead of black - very poor choice by SoA.
