Shenmue 3 Vs Half-life 2 - what is more anticipated?

No it wont do anything revelutionary, except that it is the sequal to what is easily the best first person shooter you can get.

Just to clarify, I ment that it is the most anticipated PC game. Halo 2 i would imagine is very much the most anticipated Xbox game (in popular opinion) although Shenmue3 is more so in most of our eyes.

All just my opinion.

Thank you! I've never read anything but praise for Half Life, and I bought it for the PS2 and I couldn't believe how utterly shit it was! You go 20 yards down a corridor, and the screen freezes while it does a load! On a PS2!

Now, all is explained - the PS2 version is crap - I should have played it on PC.

(That said, I don't think that lets off the developers for not making any kind of improvement to the game to account for the PS2's larger memory - that was sheer laziness. Particularly when you consider the size and detail of some of Shenmue II's environments, on a Dreamcast for god's sake!)

Shenmue 3, easily. I think Half-Life in general is terribly overrated. The actual game is a rather standard FPS with a mediocre story... People seem to endlessly praise the game essentially because there are some great mods for it. I don't think the original game should be praised any for that.

Games like System Shock 2 or Deus Ex are infinitely better.

The co-op mode in the PS2 version is good for a laugh at least, though :P
