Guess I'm sort of working my way backwards in buying them.
I think I want to wait to really get into the series until I have the first. Strange, though, that they always seemed easy-to-find on ebay before, but now the selection on ebay is pretty sparse. Gonna have to keep my eye out. I was looking at a copy of the first game this morning, but it's already gone.

If they prove too hard to find, there's no reason why you can't just play the ones you already have, since the stories aren't connected at all (aside from the odd character cameo or two here and there).

Yeah, you're probably right. But it comes down to a question of the mechanics and all that, as you were saying in another topic; it'd probably be better to start with the most "primitive." Or at least, I'd like to start that way, so I can see how the mechanics evolve (though, as far as I've seen, the changes are only incremental after the second game). In the meantime, I'm playing some old From Software greats I hadn't beaten before, so it's all good.

I mean, you'd probably buy the stuff for yourself but just in case you know someone selling stuff you already have and would pass on, i'd be interested (mostly goods).

Hey there. I havent run into too much Shenmue stuff yet besides when I was in Tokyo. But I live near another major city and will be looking for some soon enough.

Same here. I simply dont know where to look at around Tokyo. I've been here for 6 months so far and except games, i have yet to see a single goodies... Do you know if there are any shop selling goods and possibly Shenmue one ? I mean, doing video game shops is not helping me finding the stuff i want so if you have any advice, feel free to share ^^
