-Dance Dance Revolution (Any combination of techno and fat kids, I like)

Usually foreigners have great grammar skills, due to having to learn the language from scratch, like bitches. The locals are usually the ones that butcher the language.

Im not a game snob or anything, those are just the only games that I played that game me an "omgwtfbbqsaux!" feeling.

Well, that is if they care enough to become extremely fluent in it. I used to be able to go onto a spanish website and read it, but if I said anything myself I sounded like some poor, illiterate mexican child.

Wow, that's a... pretty long list. Usually the term favorite (or, as you keep saying, "best") refers to a rather elite group. Meaning a small group. "Select" would be a good term for it. And you say you want to add more...?
Sheesh.

Anyway... on to the elite:

RPG: Fallout 1&2 - My favorite RPGs ever made. Nothing yet has beaten them in terms of open-endedness and freedom to be whatever kind of character you want. And, yes, not even Morrowind or Oblivion beat it in those terms.
Also, BEST OPENING THEME SONGS EVER. Seriously. Louie Armstrong and the Ink Spots. Good stuff.

Platforming: Psychonauts - Not only is the design, writing, humor, and subject matter some of the best Ive ever seen, it also all ties into the gameplay perfectly. I'm clamoring for a sequel, but the chances of that happening are actually less than the chances of Shenmue 3 ever coming out.
This is the game that confirmed it for me: Tim Schafer is the most creative man in the gaming industry.

Adventure: Grim Fandango - In terms of graphical design, this is the single most creative game ever made. Who would have ever thought to combine the Mexican holiday of Dia de los Muertos with film noir? Only Tim Schafer, apparently. And it doesn't hurt that the dialogue is some of the cleverest I've ever heard in a game

Survival Horror: Silent Hill 2 - I have yet to encounter a game filled with more psychological depth than this. It might not be the scariest in the series (that title would go to SH3), but it is the deepest and most interesting. Plus, Maria is the hottest game character ever.
EDIT: Nix that Maria bit. I'd forgotten about Cynthia in SH4. She's hotter.

Fighting: Bushido Blade - One-hit kills and a manual block button. If you put two skilled enough players together, a single fight can go on practically for hours. I remember playing against my brothers in single matches when we were kids that went on for a half hour or more. It was the first game I ever played that had area specific damage, too. Hit a guy in the leg, he limps. Hit him in the arm, he's wounded and can't use that arm. Nothing so far has beaten this game for me in terms of sword-fighting combat.

Might think of more later... but there's not many games I like.

1. Panzer Dragoon Saga (you must play all the games though)
Simply breathtaking, although it's essential to have played the 2 predecessors to get the full effect. I played the three Saturn games one after the other and will soon take delivery of a shiny new Xbox to play the fourth game. Surely the best way to enjoy one of the most emotionaly powerful series in video game history.
PDS takes everything I hate about RPGs, and stuffs it up Square's over-rated, cliched ass. Phenominal story (one of the few RPGs I've played with a story that isn't shite), inventive and original battle mechanics that preserve the feel of the series' rail-shooter base. All that, wrapped up in gorgeous graphics, breath-taking animation, glorius music and powerfull FMVs.
This game is the pinnacle of video games, it all exists to allow this game to exist.
Rerelease plz Sega!!!! I had to download illegaly just to play it. Something is wrong with the world if I had to do that.

2. The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time
You know why. This game WAS my childhood.

3. Shenmue I&II (all one game in my opinion)
Another game where scale is a major factor, if not the factor that makes it. Shenmue I&II is an experience that should be enjoyed by everyone. Never has a game felt more involving, never have characters and gaming worlds felt more real.

4. Metroid Prime
How can you fault a game that is flawless on so many levels? Only a console FPS nut (how the hell can you be nuts about such a flawed genre??!!) can have problems with MP, so who fucking cares?
Startling Attention to detail - Check
Groundbreaking graphics - Check
Atmosphere to die for - Check
Gameplay that's proven to work in 2D, flawslessly evolved to 3D, a concept nearly unheard of. That's MP in a nutshell.

5. NiGHTS into Dreams
Ever played a Sonic game? Well, take everything good about Sonic, chuck all the flawed aspects of the game and you have NiGHTS. Pure, flawless, sugar-rush gameplay doesn't get better than this.
