^^The first game on PS1 is fucking insane (in a good way).
Ash got bad reviews, but I'm still eager to dig into it (once I'm done with all the other games on my plate). Cool storyline as far as I know.

Yeah, the gameplay in Ash is not so fun but the story is great. Glad to see you liked the first one since I'm a big fan of it.

Digital Devil Saga 2 instruction book the pages are stuck together! Better not risk ripping it up. So now keeping a eye out for the Collector's Edition. Also no instruction book came with FFX, I did get some money off through.

Yes, it's a PAL exclusive and me haz it. ;3

It comes with full OST in a DVD box, 6 postcards with artworks and an alternative cover (which is badass as you can see on amazon).

Chulip and roommania? Good games and kudos for not buying the standard stuff, although I wouldn't play those myself. There are limits of craziness in games, even the Japanese ones. These games are a little over the line... Oh, wait - make that fucking far over the line.

As for Roommania I hope I can harvest some happiness out of it, as I can't read or understand japanese..

As a collector, tho, it's all good, and I'm very happy that I got both

It'll be a while before I actually get to play through this. Need to finish everything I'm playing at the moment (Secret of Mana and Theresia) plus the first Star Ocean (previously got about 8 hours in before getting distracted). But at least I finally have it. I waited longer than I expected I would to get it.
Now I just need a 360 so I can get Star Ocean 4... or those fuckers could just do the sensible thing and port it to the PS3. I still don't get the idiot marketing move they made when they made it 360-exclusive.

I had planned on waiting to get this, but I hadn't realized it was out yet, so it blindsided me at the store a bit. Plus, it was at Best Buy, so it came with a limited edition mini-calandar. I'm such a fucking sucker for special editions and bonuses for games that I just had to get it, to make sure I'd get the bonus. Hell, I even specifically got Crisis Core at Best Buy when it first came out because only they had the special silver metalic version of the cover.
But yeah, game seems pretty cool. Combat appears to be pretty deep and chaotic, and I'm liking it a lot. The whole game is basically a mash up of FF characters engaging in Advent Children-style fighting.
Sweet shit.
As with everyting else, it'll be a while before I get very far into it, but I definitely will at some point.
