Posted: Tue Oct 16, 2012 4:48 pmMy gosh ryudo, was it really necessary to get such a staggering amount of extra swag with state funds? >.< I'm glad you finally got to treat yourself to the playstation 3 you wanted for a long time now, but it concerns me how Social Security Disability is currently unsustainable and on the fast track to run out of funding in just 5 years while you use government funds to buy things you didn't need like another xbox 360.

Why you guys get angry when really they all do it.(not trying to sound like an ass just telling the truth) And it's our money. They base it on your work history and the SS tax you paid over those years you paid. The lump sum is just retro back pay for all the SSI you missed in the time it took to get on plus another check for all the back SS you paid tax on. Then they send the regular checks. 1 at the first of the month for a a small ammount then another at the end of the month for a small amount at around 718$. Then my building takes 30% for living costs. Also this lump sum you have to spend it in a certian amount of time or else you lose all benefits
