OL wrote:The American version also has a bonus cd that I think has some sort of anime trailer that briefly covers Innocent Sin (since we never got that one over here) and has interviews with the creators. Still haven't watched it yet, though, since I'm playing other things at the moment.
I'm still hoping Atlus does a PSP port of both P2's like they did with P1. That's just about the only chance I'll ever have at playing Innocent Sin.

A persona is coming to 3DS,which game new or old I don't know.
I just know a persona game is listed as one of it's games coming out.

Since they just remade P3 and P1 it might be P2 or P4 (the console could handle both with upgrades)

Just ordered, finally. Been wanting it for a long while. It's weird, when I first heard about the game I went through a phase of thinking it looked great, with its lonely atmosphere and lack of many secondary characters (sort of mirrored a game idea I've had bouncing around in my head for a long time). Then I saw that it had really half-hearted combat with cartoony ghosts in it, and I kind of lost interest. Then, finally, I saw trailers for it and read some impressions, and the music and atmosphere all came together to make eagerly me want to play it, despite the sort of lame combat it looked to have. I love the kind of atmosphere it has, and it looks like it should have a really great story. And like I said, in some ways it mirrors some ideas I've had for a game (if I had the ability to make one).
Can't wait. :D

Didn't think I would find myself buying another halo game.

Well, after picking Phantom Dust up back in the day primarily because the cover looked fucking awesome, I've found it's not always a bad thing to judge a game by its cover.

That kind of thinking got me such classics as Comix Zone Toe Jam and Earl on Mega Drive when I was younger. Good times..

I love Treasure games...a lot. Ended up getting this for free because I gave the person my copy of Castlevania

@OL: its a dungeon crawler which means absolutely broken in terms of mechanics however its a great dungeon crawler because the brokenness feeds the atmosphere and music. Short game but worth playing a few times over.

AHA Metal Dungeon I think it was. That game was so bad I couldn't believe it. I'm usually the guy who finds the good in games like that, but the system was so broken in that game that it was impossible to settle in. Anybody beat that crap?

Went to the store specifically to get New Horizons (Uncharted Waters 2), and they had Greendog for a whole 3 bucks, so why not?
I've been wanting New Horizons for a long time, but it was one of those games I never thought I'd actually get a hold of. Low and behold, I check the website of my local (well, sorta local) classic games shop, and they've got it in stock, complete. I head over there, trade in a couple games I have doubles of (so as to bump the price down) and end up getting this pretty rare Genesis game for a mere 8 bucks (which is fucking amazing; check ebay, and the only complete copies on there go for roughly 50 bucks or more). And it was actually in better condition and even more "complete" than I could have hoped for; I didn't even realize the Genesis version was supposed to come with a map/poster (since I'd never seen that on ebay), but it was there, crisp and practically new. And as a side note, the game has the single longest manual I've ever seen in a Genesis game. Freakin' 71 pages long. It does seem like a pretty complex game, though, so it makes sense.
Anyway, nice little haul today.

Oh, and for some reason, every time I think of Greendog, I imagine Oppy.
Probably just me stereotyping Australians as surfers. And Oppy's blonde, right?
So it's the Oppy game.

Haha, right-eo, The Oppy game, I like that.
Greendogs an awesome game though, I wish they continued it by making a sequal (Scince the game ending, is well..
you'l see). I guess it just didnt sell to well.. Still, one of my Genesis favorites.
