Yeah, William Birkin is still my favourite "villain" and "monster" of the series, the former is normally attributed to Wesker and the latter to Nemesis, but I think Birkin does both better. He helped to create the T virus, created the G virus, started the Raccoon City incident, got revenge on Umbrella, killed Umbrella's spec ops unit and really was the most persistent monster of the series outside Nemesis, so much so that he eventually turned into a mass of flesh.
I really like Bladestorm's revisionist outlook on the historical battle between French and British during the 1300s, it is fascinating.
Edward the Black Prince (AKA Edward of Woodstock & Prince of Wales) is one of many (others include Joan of Arc, Philip the Good). But his design is definitely one of my favourites, his armour is just bad ass.
