I agree, but he should concentrate more on making his own games fun, just cause isn't exactly the most fun series out there, it also has a knack for overhyping itself

HE SAID: "LET HIS QUOTE SAY IT ALL!"

Surely you heard that? You're getting deaf in your old age.

Capcom has stated that it wishes to move away from the current development model - which involves big budget games with long production periods - to a setup which will see smaller teams working on more titles, and consequently 'more sequels'.

Bethesda exec unconvinced by Xbox 720, PS4: "I don't think current gen consoles are holding us back"

"I don't think the current generation of consoles are holding us back," Hines told MCV in an interview. "There is still plenty that we are able to do visually, technically and from a story-telling standpoint. And there's this huge built-in audience now.

"For me the problems with new consoles are two-fold. The developers are trying to hit a moving technical target, because the platforms are being built. A new console doesn't just show up a year before launch and is exactly what it will be when it comes out. It moves and iterates along the way. And introducing something like that to games that are in development is always a bit tricky. And that is obviously an element of risk.

"The second point is that your install base always starts at zero," he went on. "Then it comes out and suddenly a certain number of people buy it but it won't be the same number as the current gen. So you have divided your audience.

"It's then a case of: are we just making it for the next gen? Or next gen and current gen? And how many people from the current gen that I'm targeting have moved over to the next gen? It does complicate things a little bit. Obviously the changes they are going to make technologically, in terms of the things we will be able to do, are exciting. But it comes at a price."

EX Troopers not coming to the West.

http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2012/0 ... o_the_west

The forum member's original question actually related to the thorny issue of the Mega Man series, and a recent comment by Svensson that he feels the franchise has too many 'sub series'. To counter this argument, the forum poster mentioned EX Troopers based on the fact that it's a sub series of Lost Planet, seemingly making the assumption that the game would be heading out of Japan.

Svensson's response was:

No because EX Troopers isn't part of the LP series officially (thus the difference in name) nor are there plans to bring it Westward at this time.

So there you have it - Capcom isn't looking to translate and publish EX Troopers outside of its native Japan, where it launches on November 22nd of this year.

The only Lost Planet game I give a damn about...and we're not getting it. It seems like anything to do with Mega Man is cursed now.

Capcom continue to vie for the prize of most disappointing publisher and developer this gen with Konami.

Yeah, I'll be importing the PS3 version, but man, I'd really have liked to see this game released over here, even if it was in America only, I really like the art.
