Well the nintendo conference was obviously the best of the 3. I think the Wii U isnt bad, might have legs to it but its still too early to tell. Im not sold on it yet. Im rather more sold on getting the Vita first before another new console. Even then though I dont think ill get a Vita right away. This E3 just proved to me I shouldnt buy anything at launch.

The new DmC trailer he has been redesigned again and it still looks mighty awful. Not EMO anymore but a wanna be punk and the music is horrible. This has a Devil May Cry 2 vibe only worse somehow.

Looks about as good as Shadows of the Damned.
They obviously made some efforts to appease fans after the apparent outcry from the first trailer. Red coat now, and his Devil Trigger state seems to make him look more like the real Dante (white hair and all that).
The real problem now is that all of the action in that trailer looked incredibly weak, and wimpy. The guns had no "oomph" to them, nor did any of his weapon slashes and combos. And the design work is incredibly ugly. Completely lacks the stylishness that the original games naturally had oozing out of every pore. The monster designs are obviously western-made, and it takes so, so, so much away from its appeal.
This still ain't Dante. This still ain't Devil May Cry.
This whole project still gets nothing but one big middle finger from me. Should never have happened. Give DMC back to Capcom in Japan.

Well, at least Asura's Wrath looks fucking incredible.

Well I must say that the best part of E3 2011 was chatting with you guys. E3 itself was rather lack-luster other than Nintendo. But the chat was pretty awesome. I hope we can get together again for many more.

It just doesn't look that great to me, and I'm not just going to assume it's any good solely because of the names attached to it.
I want it to be good, believe you me. I'd love to have another great, creative, clever Suda game in my collection, and who knows, maybe this one will surprise me. But as it is, all I've seen from it is lots of blood and dick jokes I would have made when I was 11. None of that magic touch that I loved Suda for with his other games.

Gameplay looks incredibly average and uninteresting. But yeah, the humor is very welcome. Just not enough of that kind of thing in gaming these days.
I don't even care if the gameplay is "meh"-looking, I'll still play it.

Same kind of humor better looking gameplay, waaay better atmosphere. So why is it ok with the duke but not ok to fuck at funerals?

It's kinda funny wiiu in a sense has been in development for over 10 years. Pocketstation got the ball rolling then Dreamcast with VMU Nintendo then got the idea for Gamecube with GBA/Gamecube connectivity and while early talks of wii(revolution) they said you would not need a TV to play it and could take it anywhere. Obviously that technology was not there yet so we got waggle instead. So finally the project Nintendo has wanted and the industry has off an on been trying to do has come.
