Large chance Nintendo has the best conference considering the factors. Id say Sony second because of NGP. And MS close third because they will probably do good for half the show but have way too much "extreme" marketing with kinect the second half.

^Really hope this year the show is 'won' by great games, not new, hyped hardware.

IMO seeming may be the best show since 1999-2000.

Me too. Id like a short amount of time spent talking hardware and more time with software on screen. These past few years we see a couple titles show cased and then the rest is montaged together. I think MS might be capable of showing more games but their track record has always proved they would rather spend half an hour on EA sports and first party titles. Sony i have confidence in but theu got ngp coming and they could spend half the show on that easily. Nintendo is always a toss up. Its mainstream one year hardcore the next and they always have new hardware to show.

I really REALLY hope Sony and Microsoft don't screw it up by going down under the urgent, obcessive need of somehow announcing or teasing a new console because of Nintendo's Project Café, hence not focusing on what people want: great games for the consoles we have and like very much thank you.

They need to go with the flow and hang tight, their consoles were overpowerful and half baked, lets just stick with 360 and ps3, let pc advance and return to the natural order. Lets look at advnces in middleware and great software solutions instead of slapping on more meltin components just cause we need "moar gwafixs"

i feel toasty

Not the conference itself, they have a special event beginning after the conference has ended.

Just occurred to me we haven't heard much out of Bioshock Infinite lately. Hope we see something of that.

Also, there's this game coming from Namco called Inversion that grabbed my attention a little while back. Looks like it's mostly a standard third person shooter, but the gimmick of it is that you can manipulate gravity in different ways. You can walk on walls and ceilings, float through the air, lift large object and use them as weapons, etc.
I don't expect it to be a big hit or anything, but it feels like it'll be the kind of thing I'm into. One of those sleepers that just gets forgotten and never ends up getting the love it should (like Dark Void or Dead to Rights: Retribution). Something fun with cool ideas, but maybe not as striking as the big boys, so no one pays attention. Always a shame, but I'm looking forward to the game anyway.
