I had a notion it would end like that. Plus, the PS2 version is much cheaper. I hope to get it soon, but first - I gotta work on my backlog. At least a little.

Have to say Red Dead Redemption is an awesome game. Found myself doing things Shenkue-esque in a sandbox game, like walking everywhere (not even galloping on a horse, but just walking along the country as day turns to night. Really getting into it!

I want to get both Red Dead Revolver and Red Dead Redemption. Tho I hear it's not a real sequel.

No from what i was told it wasnt. I wouldnt have bought Redemption if it was a direct sequel (i hate, and never do it cuz i always feel like i didnt take part in the "magic" in order). I guess its an OCD thing. But yea man honestly its a really good game, even though its still a R* game (shooting, drinking etc). But the best bit by far is going across the entire dust/barren ridden frontier on a mission, walking along on your horse and seeing the sunset. Its sort of uncomparable in terms of graphic and look, but its the same thing as outside the cave in Guilin, or overlooking Kowloon from atop the Yellowhead Building. Its just very appealing to the eye, that a GTA game has not achieved until now.

Plus, and this may sound odd, but its unbelievably refreshing to have this GTA build of a game, with towns/ cities etc. but theres not one vehicle in sight. It really adds to the difference that the game offers as a whole. I will say hy the end, this will easily be my favourite R* game

RDR is easily one of this generations best games. Not only is it a lot of fun to play, but it also has, to me at least, the best story in an open world game to date.

It will never happen esp now but I would love to see original Dante & Bayonetta in a game together. but as it stands Project X Zone is the last game we will see the real Dante.

Getting deeper and deeper into Pandora's Tower and loving it more and more. Repetitiveness? Of course, but no more than your video game average. Xenoblade is more repetitive. Actually, Xenoblade's questing is one of the most lame gaming examples of repetitiveness ever.

What I love about PT is the fact that the game drips with oldschool. You will find traces of Metroidvania, PS2 Rygar, the old Resident Evil, Zelda and even a little bit of Matsuno's legacy.

The art style is surprisingly good with strong inspirations from the Romanticism.

It's just remarkable how gracefully this game creates a strangely alluring atmosphere of lugubriousness.

It is Castlevania like. Glad you found your fave of the 3. The Last Story I just go gaga for myself personally. Fucking love that game. I can't fucking wait for mistwalkers next RPG

I gave up on Mistwalker after Lost Odyssey. Sakaguchi bores me, to be honest. He uses too many clichés that irritate me.

I'm sure I would enjoy The Last Story for what it is if I got it cheap or as a present, but I find it vastly overrated and I couldn't bring myself to pay the full price for it. It didn't help that I don't like its OST.
