Aksys put the Virtue's Last Reward preorder bonus back up on Amazon due to fan demand, so I was luckily able to place an order for that just now.
Need to go cancel my preorder of the 3DS version at Gamestop now. Maybe I'll just move the money I already have down on it over to a preorder of Residet Evil 6 or something. Was planning on getting that first day anyway.

And whilst I'm drunk, was Laguna Loire the coolest FF character ever? To me, he was DEFINITELY easier to warm to (in game terms) than the cold asshole that Squall was. Plus his happy-go-lucky positive attitude, as opposed to the typical "Emo" one, did him no harm at all. He went from Galbadian grunt, caught in a bad situation where he has to save Ward and Kiros, to being caught up in (an admittedly WAY too easy, all he has to do was shove that sorceress bitch into a mechanism) a coup de etat, to being the president of the most advanced continent on the FF8 planet? He's a guy I could talk to.

Posted: Sat Sep 29, 2012 11:08 pmNot sure. I'm fairly straight, and I'm pretty sure he'd be a lot straighter than I am, but there may have been some form of "mancrush" there. I just felt he was easier to relate to (possibly more "Western"?) than most of the main heroes in the whole series.
