Posted: Fri Oct 04, 2013 7:01 pmBox is damaged quite bit (top right corners were smashed, and a gnarly rip on the side), but I was the only one who preordered so it's the only one they had. Have to check back Monday to see if they got any more in. For now this is mine lol sucks I can't play it till then cause it has to be sealed for the exchange.

I hadn't been paying close attention to its release at all (being that I don't own a WiiU), but I didn't know there was a snazzy collector's edition like that, much less that it has a figure of Ganon in his good old Wind Waker design. That's really cool.

Posted: Sat Oct 05, 2013 3:36 pmWell, I did a bit of browsing, apparently they did take out the Japanese voice option, which really sucks, but nevermind, I've already played the other games in the series up until this point in English. I recall the same problem being in the very first Onimusha, as well; NTSC-U releases get the Japanese voice option, PAL versions have it ripped out, no idea why since the series is set in ancient Japan, it'd only be natural that they speak in Japanese. Oh well.

Yeah I think it's pretty nice. It was only 10 bucks more than the regular edition (59.99 vs 49.99). They called me this morning and I already exchanged it for one not beat up. The cover art is a shiny gold foil design. My phone sucks so when I try to snap a pic its just one big glare lol.

This is what I hate about collector editions. They ship the no frills standards in durable plastic cases. Then they make the more expensive CE a flimsy carboard box that is so cheap that it will likely be bent and banged up before you even get it home. Those that pay a premium for a fancy version do so in part for posterity people.
