I haven't played far into this game; only the first couple stages so far, kind of a while back. Didn't want to get too far without actually playing the original Deception first. But I do remember hearing this tune and really liking it. Really unique sound. Not quite in line with the gothic orchestral stuff that seems to permeate the rest of the series, but that just makes it stand out.

It almost reminds me of the Tristram music from the first Diablo. And that ain't a bad thing.

I played this rare gem for the first time the other day on a real arcade machine!! And Wow! What amazing music the first stage has! The music really gets you pumped up for the amazing action that is about to take place especially when cranked up ... just perfect for this type of game...

Just started pummeling my way through this game again. Great bit of nostalgia, great game, and damn that music creates a great atmosphere. I only wish there were more songs in French on the soundtrack. Would have made more sense.

So I beat The Saboteur for the second time. Couldn't bring myself to 100% it by destroying every target on the map as I was planning, because that would have driven me insane (there are just too many).
But I'd almost forgotten how eerie the ending is.
After hauling ass through the streets of Paris while the people rise up and fight the Nazis, after avoiding explosions and gunfire for hours on end, you end up at the Eiffel Tower. The streets are completely empty, fire all around while the rain beats down. And off in the distance, very subtle, you can hear this piano version of "Feeling Good," and it slowly gets louder as you approach the tower and take the elevators up to its top floors.

Don't want to spoil what's up there in case anyone hasn't played it, but it's wonderfully atmospheric and creepy. I remember thinking the ending was anti-climactic when I first played the game years ago, but I've grown to really appreciate it now. It's far, far different from what one would expect, and I think it's all the better because of it.

Shoji Meguro's Maken X OST is so overlooked and features some really nice (and crazy) electro.

Like this one which starts out sounding more like his other work and then...(just listen)

Lawdy lawdy, that is some great stuff. I have the game on DC, I just haven't really delved into it very deeply in the past, so I don't think I realized the music was so good (actually didn't even know it was by Meguro, for that matter).

Hooked up my Sega Megadrive today and played Alien 3, hearing the title screen theme i got chills of nostalgia!
One of my favorite megadrive games!

Remember when Final Fantasy had its own band, The Black Mages? I Forgot how perfect this song was, I havent listened to it in a few years, really rises my emotions.

I was playing through Soul Blazer again and got stuck listening to this track loop for quite a while. It's really really intense. I love it.
