Random Gaming Thoughts (Read OP Before Posting)

I am a firm believer every single game has a bullshit section part of the game. Even great games. OoT water temple,Grandia Twin Towers,Any Classic Underwater Sonic level,Mortal Kombat 3 Motaro,Dragon Age Origins the Fade,FFXV Chapter 13 pre patch.

Today I think I ran into Persona 5's BS section. Space Port. It was annoying enough there are these timed sections. It's worse when a game designed to have stealth gives you almost no place to hide and you have no choice but to get caught. Then You have the airlock section. Holy shit. That is some of the worst puzzle design in a game in recent years. It's so damn obtuse. It makes little sense. Space Port is also really long. It has this one enemy type you better have a persona to expose it's weakness otherwise you will have a bad time. You would think the new character with the new ability would have that. Nope.Now the Palaces already can be a bit annoying in how long they are and how you are forced to waste a day before fighting the boss. That's a minor thing. Space Port is absolute trash and doesn't belong in an otherwise very good game. I did finish it but man I hope the next one isn't this bad.

OOT's water temple isn't all that bad. It is just frustrating because for most of the game, you would encounter like 2 key doors at the most that you didn't have keys to. The water temple gives you access to many key doors from the start, without forcing you into the key chests like the other dungeons do. I guess a lot of people consider it the worst dungeon in the game because it was such a departure from the dungeon clearing method that the game taught the player to do.

But yea, I get what you are saying with the BS section in video games. My current video game infatuation is Star Trek Bridge Crew. I have recently taken the role of Captain in most of my recent games, and the position is boring as hell if you have a competent crew. You just tell helm to warp to locations, crew goes on autonomous mode, and then you finish the mission. After the mission everyone is cheering, you get promoted, and get achievements out of the ass while you are just sitting there like:

So about that Persona 5 story reveal.

wuuuuuuuuuuuut. That was actually pretty awesome. Up til that point the story has been mainly absent unlike P4. Also unlike P4 this reveal is actually surprising. I legit thought did I just get the bad ending and how? Nope just Chuck Testa with another realistic fakeout. Also MC talks sometimes in the anime bits. He should have just been fully VA'd. So I am deep into the game on the 7th Palace and it rocks.

STO was updated wasn't it? I finished all the main missions. So if a new one is out I should get it. My Ship is the Dreamcast. Admiral Segata Sanshiro is a blue 7 foot alien. My ship is also Odyssey Class tactical.

Going to my local theater tomorrow for a live showing of the Sony E3 conference. Apparently we get free Sony shit too. I'm interested to see what happens.

I really need to stop playing the binding of isaac, I go to the bathroom and kept playing like 4 hours straight.

It's stupidly addicting, but I don;t think it's time well spent.

Literally the best thing that's been shown so far. Seriously the best looking DB game ever. I hope we make Bulma fight Chi-Chi.

Forza 7 looks awesome as expected. So glad I can play XB1 games on PC lol.

Forza 7 really amazed me. It's the first time I've really been impressed with the graphics of a game in a long time.

I stayed up til 7 am to finish the last few hours of Persona 5. I got the true ending. The final boss fight was more fun than Persona 4. Also nice I didn't have to worry about a gas station attendant this round. The final dungeon is the actual final dungeon thankfully. The ending animated sequence was better than Persona 4 wave goodbye. One dungeon I hated. Rest were fun. Casino was was esp fun. Overall loved the game but P4 still remain my favorite. I should try NG+ at some point. For now booted up my save file for Digimon Cyber Sleuth.
