But fuck, Ubisoft actually had the best conference as for today.

And yet still no gameplay. Where did they say it will be an MMORPG? it says beyond good and evil 2 at the end of the trailer.

It's not hard to understand why people are excited about Sonic Forces. This game is a successor to Sonic Generations, one of the most popular Sonic games in the last decade. A continuation of that well received gameplay, with the addition of the character creator to keep things fresh, is a smart move for Sega to make.

Stoked about that surprise BGE2 trailer, but a tad disappointed that it's going to be a prequel. I'm sure the original has a lot of rich backstory they can dive into, but Jade will be sorely missed.

Colors and Generations were great games. It's from that team. So yeah it looks like it could be pretty fun. I am still more interested in Sonic Mania tho.

They made stages just for the Avatars? Oh okay so now I know where it got it's name from.
This "Sonic forces" you to play as original characters. I hate to be so negative about this game but that is not a smart descission. As an extra feature the custom characters aren't that bad. But having to play as them and having stages where you can't play as Sonic is not the right idea in my eyes.

You've done nothing to even talk about the points I raised in my last post. Sonic Forces looks great, as the long awaited sequel to Sonic Generations. The character creator alone is already generation a lot of excited interest across the internet.

The modern Sonic stages look pretty much like Gens/Colors. It's fun. I have to confess tho when I see the classic Sonic stages. I just want a full game of those graphics with classic Sonic with classic gameplay. No boost. No homing attack. Just jump and spindash.

Speaking of Sonic, I saw that my amazon pre order for the Sonic Mania CE got pushed up a few weeks from September 4th to August 17th.

Speaking of Sonic, I saw that my amazon pre order for the Sonic Mania CE got pushed up a few weeks from September 4th to August 17th.

I had that pre ordered but seeing how it's just a digital code and not a physical game I cancelled. Bummed me out.
