says the price for Wind Waker game only is 49.99 new, thats still $10 off a regular Wii-U game. Shitty thing is, when Wind Waker originally came out the first time, thats how much it cost. I think a price point of 29.99 to 39.99 would have been more appropriate.
Also, is it just me or does the HD remake of Wind Waker looks less cel-shaded and more like actual boxy character models? Ugh, im not sure how much I like what they have done/changed. My gut is telling me its always gonna be best on cube.

I think they both look great and would be fine if we never got the remake but also glad we did.

It would have been pretty hilarious if the rerelease was more than the original copy.

20gb ps3s were out of print before 60, "arcade" 360s were out of print pretty fast also. Generally the lower value model is always the 1st to go. I don't really see how its greedy, they're giving people what they actually need for the price it should have been originally.

I think this game is totally worth the full price tag. Don't let the title "Wind Waker HD" fool you, this is a COMPLETE remake of the game, not some up scaled re-release of God of War II we're talking about.

I don't know it looks unscaled to me with the same textures on may things,same poly count and just added bloom. Not a bad thing as the game looks great anyway but if that really was built ground up then that in a sense is more disappointing and it did not take any advantage of the Wii U's power.

The characters are remade pretty much to spec with the original designs in mind, but the environment and pretty much everything else is a brand new take on an old game. Hope this video helps show the difference in the world at least. Just some static screens, but once you see it in person you'll see the difference. Video and screens do not do this game justice at all.

Sailing faster? The long voyages were one of the key aspects that made the game so special imo.

Sadly no, not that I am aware of anyway. I wish there was though, hopefully they will sneak a new dungeon or something in there with out telling anyone. We can hope anyway.
