Haha yeah, you don't need to change it or anything, and it doesn't bother me, my mind is just playing tricks on me. No big deal.

PT wasn't made to feel/look like silent hill. It was only a tech test to make sure they could do a killer job on a next gen horror game. It succeeds. It it looked like silent hill people would have made the connection instantly. But Kojima hoped it would take people a while to figure out the game and beat it. As someone said before in this thread the part with reedus looked like silent hill.

It costing billions for Microsoft is far fetched. But Microsoft knows the power that teaser made on the web. That's HUGE marketing. If the game was more than 50% completed konami made a foolish choice to abandon a game with so much hype. The hype is why Microsoft is buying it(if the rumor is true).

Of course he's not gonna admit they're working on a deal that's ongoing.

I'm sorry guys, but 80% done? A billion dollars? You're all really buying into this? REALLY?

I think the billion was even more funny than the 80%. Was hoping it was some garbage reporting but the idea of having it acquired, by anyone, would have been better than Konami holding on to it.

Honestly though, Kojima can and should go on to make P.T. The thing that made it so great, to me at least, was it's unique atmosphere and approach. The fact that it was Silent Hill was almost shoe horned, because it felt nothing like it. I've long accepted the death of Silent Hill, revitalizing it didn't matter much to me, but instead the unique style of P.T. on it's own. In fact, it being Silent Hill was my least favorite part because it gave it some kind of familiarity. I don't want that, I want to go in completely fresh. That's what P.T. was to me and made it so special, I think everyone would want more of that and he easily can give it to us under a different publisher.
