my girlfriend made all of this for me, also the framed painting with outrun and other favorite games of me done on them (strijkkraaltjes, don't know english word ;)). she's very handy. all systems you see are hooked up at once and can be played at any time. my ps4 and other ps3 are in living room downstairs.

the painting of ico was made by my dad several years ago.

please post yours and also what you have for shenmue

Dude, this is amazing and aspiring! I can only wish to have such an awesome clean console setup/collection like that! Absolutely outstounding! The interior design that your girlfriend did is excellent too and very well considered. I really like the shelves and ambient lighting is an excellent touch!

This is the room of dreams! Man, thanks for showing me that, I need to work my butt off harder in order to have anything closer to that.

Also, gotta be said, your girlfriend sounds amazing is quite clearly very talented! Awesome dude! ;-)

Beautiful collection. I'll post mine once I actually get it neat-looking. What's that big console that's 2nd from the bottom, 3rd from the left?

Oh fuck off! :P

But seriously, i think almost everyone here is envious of such a setup. That room would be an excellent set for a youtube channel, just find some places for some good camera angles and start creating some content!

I don't know what I'd want more. The Ryo statue or the one of Vyse! I didn't even know they made Eternal Arcadia statues.

Sick. I like how colourful and organised it is, very pleasing to look at.

Mine is in boxes at the moment and to be honest I'm not sure how much of it I will hang onto in future but set up it looks like this.

Really nice. Both the collection and how it is set up!
It's also great to see someone who keeps older consoles and games around. Of course, some need to sell things for financial reasons, moving, lack of space etc. But I was thinking of those that automatically consider games or consoles to be shit and sell them just because something newer came out. I saw this more often since last generation when gaming went more mainstream.

PS I know Dutch but had to look up "strijkkralen". I didn't know there was a word for those thingies :P

Born in Northern Belgium but have lived in Sweden for a long time. In daily life I mainly speak Swedish but still know Dutch (except that one word ;-) ). Mostly by reading papers or speaking to Flemish or Dutch people (on vacation or on the internet).

Impressive work by your dad and girlfriend by the way.

Speaking of collections, I took pictures of me and my girlfriend's Shenmue collection a few years ago but forgot where I saved them... I would take new ones but only have part of the collection here with me while the bigger part is somewhere else for the moment.
