Nintendo has been in this era since Wii U. They let Zelda become a Dynasty Warriors game. They brought Cloud into Smash and a M rated character in Bayo in Smash. Told Platinum to have Bayo wear less clothes in Bayo 1 with the costumes. Brought in other Nintendo series in Mario Kart. They took Fire Emblem and let Atlus basically make a Persona Fire Emblem. We got a Pokemon fighting game from the makers of Tekken and Tekken Tag 2 had Nintendo costumes. Now with Switch they continue to get nuts with their IPs.

Since you asked about my opinion, I think you're relying too much on some fairly shaky promises from Nintendo. Just look like 'Metroid Prime 4', except that you can't since Nintendo didn't reveal anything about the game, only its logo. Nintendo fans criticise other publishers for making announcements too early but they readily excuse Nintendo for exactly the same behaviour. This 'Metroid Prime 4' might as well not exist for all the information you have about it.
