It's nice that somebody's taken over from Who Really Cares? I pretty much relied on him alone to keep up to speed with video game shit.

My first reaction was that it must be Bloodborne 2, because that... "weapon" or whatever it is made me think it might be akin to the transforming ones from Bloodborne.
But then I realized the music has an Japanese flair, and the writing in the background does as well... so maybe From are doing what everyone used to ask for, and going with a more Japanese-flavored Souls type of game? The reference to dying again fits in with that.
Sure, Nioh kind of did it already, but From always finds their own unique take on things, so it wouldn't be unwelcome.
I'm sure there are plenty of people shouting "It's Otogi!" but I've learned to stop assuming that they're ever eager to go back into old franchises.
Probably a new IP entirely, using elements of their recent games.
