How are you feeling AG?

The doctors have done everything they can do to save my colon, but the decision has been made for me to have the surgery done. I am currently waiting to be accepted and transfered to the best hosptial here in Georgia and see some surgeons that can do this surgery, so hopefully surgery with in the next few days or week. The good news is once my colon is removed the Ulcerative Colitis is gone forever, unless it turns out I have had crohns this whole time and they just havent been able to catch it, but they have told me thats not likely given all my test results. There are still risks that come with surgery and having the pouch put in, it could potentially be a 2 or 3 part surgery with 4-6 week healing time in between each one, so the possible risks and recovery are gonna be the most daunting part of all this, but I am ready to start getting better and hopefully by next year start feeling better than I have i quite some time, possibly ever. Alot is going on, and I dont know when I will really be back at home again regularly, I have my Vita and a couple games so im hoping to get some game time in with what ever down time I have if im up to it.

Going through tough times myself...
That moment when you realise you have to put down your pet dog of over a decade is heartbreaking and something we did not want to do but we can't keep him going like this, he's been my best friend for so long now and he's now even struggled getting up and walking around, it's awful seeing him this way. It's going to be so hard but it has to be done. It's been such an awful year for me. I'm taking a timeout from here for a while.
