feeling kinda shitty because I never really got to know my uncle more than I did. Found out today that they shut down the shop he worked at so that people could come to the funeral, and the owner flew out from Japan (to Ohio) just to come to his funeral. I never knew he was so respected there.

I shoulda taken a picture of this basket of flowers the company sent to the calling hours. The thing was like 3 feet wide, and as tall as the coffin when sitting on the ground. I can't imagine how much that cost.
