It's funny how the status quo is changing. We've replaced Chelsea as the munichs' title rivals, Spurs have replaced Arsenal as the "they have a mathematical chance" side, Chelsea are the new Liverpool in that they're getting the results to be up there, but just aren't doing well enough, Arsenal are like the old Everton in that they're dancin around the top six as if some obsessed celebrity stalker's just got into Kim Kardashian's birthday bash, and Liverpool are the surprise contender of the year for getting into the top four, and Newcastle are like Villa in the way everyone around em thinks they ain't a threat, but secretly shitting themselves that they could actually finish above them. This is compared to about five years ago, btw.

^Innit. Still can't get over your gaffer though. Said he was a disgrace the day after it happened, and less than a week later he's talkin about takin him to Spurs. I suppose it would've got him slightly closer to Argentina by an inch or two.

Um, they did, he just didn't realise that our chairman & owner are two of the most successful businessmen in the world. And I was just sayin how funny it was that everyone agreed that Tevez should be banned from football, yet still wanted him to play for their respective club.

AC Milan vs Juventus today. Certainly a deciding fixture in a Serie A that's finally starting to become attractive again.

Juventus are still undefeated in the league (although with 10 draws, in classic italian fashion).

A couple put bids in for him but none prepared to match Citys price. The guys damaged goods right now.

Um did Spurs and Arsenal swap shirts 30 Minutes into the game?

Hope all this crap from the press going on about Harry and the England job wont have a negative effect on the players.

Wow.

The Arsenal match was pretty darn crazy, good stuff apart from Bale being a tool, Arsenal refused to lay down and were bombing forward at 2-0 which was good to see after the bad results they've had recently where they seemed utterly hopeless, gutted for Cardiff aswell, they really dug in but oh well.

We had the game on in the background at work and there is a Liverpool fan there so I was laughing quite a bit today.

Some match results...

USA beats Italy 1:0
Argentina beats Switzerland 3:1
France beats Germany 2:1
The Netherlands beats England 3:2
Spain beats Venezuela 5:0

Italy is a complete shadow of their former selves.

The Argies beat Switzerland, actually, not Sweden.

The Swiss are bound to explode sooner or later, but they seem to be like a mini-version of what Spain used to be like. Always the promise, never the delivery.
