Good start to the Euros then, Russia are looking good but i get the feeling they'll struggle when they come up against one of the bigger teams, hope tomorrows matches deliver.

I say, hadn't seen a team play in 442 with two out and out strikers like that in a long time. Wonder who'll get the axe for Rooney's sake. (and who should in defence, by the way, two set-pieces goals should be unnaceptable).

36 shots on goal for italy... we are lucky to have a bloody good goalkeeper, even if by some chance we win the match through penalties I highly doubt we would beat germany in the next round playing like this

Good ol England, lose on penalties in a quarter finals, reliable as ever. Unfortunately Italy was by far and away the better side, at least after the first half, so they deserved it I guess.

well to be fair most of those were shit shots from Mario.
But hey considering the build up the team did well. A lot lof guys got experience and im looking forward to the WC. Just wish he would have dropped Young last night as he was useless in the group games.
Spain v Germany it is then.
