Sadly true which is why i laugh and cry at Levy saying Spurs wont spend big but think they can win the title.
As for Harry i think he was 4 players away from having a real title pushing team but again would he have been given the funds? I doubt it.
I do think the players need to take a lot of the blame for how they fell apart but i also dont think he helped by suddenly playing 5 in midfield as it made our game much slower.
My biggest issue with him was his lack of rotation, Bale was hit and miss last season while Pienaar looked solid when he went back to Everton so it would have been nice to maybe give Bale a rest now and then and play him.
I like Dos Santos but i think he played in 4 league games since Harry took over and all of them as subs.
And i have no idea why he bought in Saha only to drop him after 3 games? But i just dont see why you would sack him for AVB who did pretty poorly at Chelsea? Lets face it if he had not been sacked Chelsea would never have won the CL and Harry would have guided them to a 2nd CL tournament.
But then we really should have finished 3rd.
And while City had built some foundations at the club which is always good i still dont think they would have even been a top 4 team without spending the money they have. But thats more to do with how the game is now and its good that you have atleast 6 maybe 7 teams good enough for a top 4.
The one thing you can say about Chelsea is they finished 2nd the season before Rom took over.
