We beat Porto in Porto, yesterday. 6 points clear now.

Gonna confess to not knowing much about the Portugese leagues, but to beat Porto in their own back yard and be sitting pretty at the top with a six point gap... well, I hope you don't remember getting home.

Yeah, one would fairly think so. One thing I can tell you about the portuguese league is how I need to pay about 35£ to watch a match at the stadium. As I'm sure you've noticed, we're all poor here.

Yeah, I've heard it's pretty bad. A top flight ticket in any country's becomin a joke nowadays, especially away matches. Then there's the price of pints at half time...

Indeed, specially as a student. Regardless, it still is too much, considering how only Benfica get a full stadium. And that's only once or twice a season, nowadays.

I'd imagine lower end teams like Academica don't see anywhere near the amount of revenue that Porto and Benfica see, which is why the league is so divided.

That is possibly true. Besides, what happens in Portugal is everyone welcoming the fixture with Benfica because there's a chance they'll get a full stadium revenue.

Anyone watching the Euros? Have the week off work to basically drunk myself to death and watch every match. Absolutely hanging after last night, but won a few quid on France last night, and watching the Switzerland Albania match now. Can't beat major tournaments like this.
