Yeah, but alot of the hatred is coming from Di Matteo being fired aswell, they just took it all out on him anyway instead of the owner who was there.
I can remember his comments about Chelsea fans and their flags, i found it absolutely hilarious personally

Stupid shit, I know. I was appalled at the decision to sack Hughes n thought it was badly handled, but we never booed Mancini for it. Same with Sven. Besides, it ended up being the best decision Gary Cook ever made for us!

living in germany you can't hide football. my home team is hannover (up in northern germany in lower saxony) 96 maybe someone know it because we play now our 2. time in the europe league and doing well, we are now first place in group L and with good chances to be there on the last match, so this means i dislike bayern münchen or for u guys munich because those guys are a way too arrogant
and everyone disliking them unless you are bayern münchen fan

So what do people think of the idea of getting rid of the Europe League and having a bigger CL? Me i think it would ruin a few things least of all the race for the top 4 in the PL. Race for the top 7 is not going to be as fun.

^Yeah pretty much. I don't see how the biggest competition in football should feature 4 or 5 Scottish teams.
I've always wanted the FA Cup winner or runner up to get a place in the Champions League as it would make it a bit more important and taken seriously which no one seems to anymore. I'd trade 4th place in the Premier League for that but other than that it should stay the same.

Are they kidding? It would water the entire thing down, i wouldn't even bother watching matches in the group stages, instead i would just wait until the knockout stages until the real quality kicked in, i'm sure alot of others would do the same.
If UEFA want the second-tier competition to be popular again then they'll have to go back to the old format where only the champions of the league qualified for the main European competition, the rest can be shoved into the second competition, maybe throw in a CL place the following season for the winner? It'd sure boost it's popularity ten-fold.
Of course they'll never do that as there's just too much money in the Champions League now, expanding the competition is not the way to go though, bad bad idea imo.

Well, I've always been of the opinion that the Champions League should be for champions only. Domestic leagues and cups = qualification. Winning CL or EL = qualification. Everyone else goes to the Europa League. Kinda pisses me off that you can win a trophy and be entered for a lesser competition than a team that came fourth place in the league...
I understand that there are certain regulations in regards to stadium size, facilities n shit so they wouldn't want to run the risk of a League 1 side qualifying via winning the F.A. Cup, but Champions League should mean Champions League.
Anyway, I don't like the idea. As implied, it's the Europa League that should be encompass more teams.

But no seriously just keep it as it is. Is it really worth letting Scotland have more teams in the CL? And the PL would lose a little something if it was no longer a race for the top 4.

Exactly. It'd put more emphasis on winning the league. Even before Thaksin came in I thought it was stupid that clubs who should be challenging for the title instead aimed for a top four finish. It adds that little more incentive that would show a player's true qualities and push the team forward throughout the season, instead of calculating the number of points it would take to get to third or fourth position.
