Premium Rush.
Which is basically JGL riding on a bike. It's a good flick. But i'm disappointed cause it started out great then kind of dwindled down towards the end to just merely 'good'. I blame it on the main antagonist, he played the part like a cartoon sometimes. Plus the non-linear narrative worked against it towards the end, where in the beginning it did wonders.

^^I was interested in that, mostly just because of the lead. Definitely have to see it eventually.

He's great in it. Ever since (500) Days of Summer, Inception, 50/50 and even his bit in TDKR, i'll watch anything he's in now.
He's not in it all that much after the second act, unfortunately. He should've been in it more.

The little kid in it is kind of annoying, but JGL is awesome as the title character. Hilarious performance.

Paranorman.
Fun movie. The jokes don't always work but when they do they were great. But what really made it great was the ending, which took its paper thin plot and blew it up to be more dramatic and charming. They also took a few risks which I always love when animated films do so (or any film for kids). And the character designs and set pieces were fantastic, they were full of imagination and personality.
I give this one an 8 out of 10, mostly cause of the ending. Everyone in the theater, especially kids, loved it. Even though traditional hand drawn animation is dead, its great to see stop motion films continue on that old school legacy and newer generations embracing them.

same here. It's one of those movies you thought you must have seen but didn't. I didn't know that Clint Eastwood produced it either. He truly is a jazz buff. He plays piano himself and his son is an amazing jazz musician.

Michael Haneke is one of the greatest directors ever though, seriously. I love all of his work, and it makes perfect sense why he remade Funny Games.
