What!? Killer Croc? Wouldn't of guessed that one. David Goyer wrote a small piece for Croc in the Gotham Knight series. He was under Scarecrow's fear toxin for fear of bats. The general background was circus freak with bad skin condition, chiselled his teeth to razor sharpness. That could only mean, yippee another small role for the Scarecrow..

Deadshot I would like to see. That was another short story in the anime series, also the best suited to Nolan's universe if you ask me.

Oooh, Croc has more potential in the Nolan-verse than Riddler does. That's just me though. That news has me pretty excited. I'd also like to see Black Mask, I know Goyer was talking about him just after Dark Knight saying he is a fan of that character. An assassin type character like Deadshot would make for a nice change from "criminal tearing up Gotham City" like Scarecrow, Ra's, Two-Face and Joker from the first two films. The next Batman doesn't haven't to be so large scale, in fact, I'd prefer it to be smaller scale, character-based. Something like that, rather than "ARGH, insane criminals are ruining Gotham City" which is probably what we're going to get from somebody like Riddler. Had enough of that from the first two films.

I'd love to see Black Mask. He's a great character in Under the Red Hood. But the whole side of mob bosses and double-crossing agents has been done quite a lot over the past two films. Glad I'm not writing it, that's for sure..

We need Mr Feeze,Bane and Poison Ivy in the same film oh and nipples.
I'm waiting for that movie. I also want a Scene with a shark and a long scene batman running with a bomb.

Yeah, it's sounding more and more like Black Mask is the villain now. (No Riddler confirmed!)

I agree it's a lame ass title though. "Caped Crusader" wouldn't be much better, either, though.

I would of thought they'd go for 'The Dark Knight Returns'. Doesn't matter, I'll still call it "Batman 3" regardless

Apparently Tom Hardy is up for the Riddler. Just a rumor, but he is confirmed to be plaing a villan in B3

^Nolan has said the Riddler won't be the villan.

I'm sure that it's only called the the Dark Knight Rises so people know it has something to do with the last film.

Funny how people still debate on an actor for the Riddler even though Nolan shot that down.

I also prefer the title 'The Dark Knight Returns' but I guess it all depends on the theme they're going for. I'm really just curious how they're gonna end it all.

Gotham never has a happy ending. Batman can't die. Some minor characters will probably die in the process of Batman stopping the villain. Alfred can't die. It'll be a bad ending.

Thinking about it, the ending of Batman Begins was a perfect end to the first film, I wouldn't mind seeing something like that again to close it all off..

Don't like the name. Hugo Strange would work well - not as a villain - but as an antagonist to Batman who practically taunts him over his publically-perceived insanity via TV (ala "LOTDK: Prey") But yeah, I can't remember where I heard it, but apparently we'll see many cameos from Batman's rogue gallery. Not sure how I'd feel about that at the mo...
