What are your avatar pics from

A lot of you guys have DP's that Ive always been curious about. A lot of the time I have no idea where they are from. So what are they, random pics, from a game or TV series? How are they significant to you.

Mines Spike from Cowboy Bebop (although I'm sure you all knew that). He's my pic because when I made my account here was when I was watching Cowboy Bebop, and Spike of course was my favourite character. Ive changed it a couple of times, but I figure I might as well just stick with it.

At the moment my avatar is the main character from the game Cybernator/Assault Suit Valken for the SNES. The picture is swiped from one of the endings.
I'll probably change it to another SNES or Genesis character pretty soon.

EDIT: Oh, and I just slightly changed the topic title so offhand it's a little more obvious what it's about. So's ya know.

Maybe not actually purple hair, but it's the closest I could think of that I've used before...
His name's Uruha, from a band called The Gazette. He's probably my favorite guitarist. People always seem to have something against pretty Japanese guys though, so I stopped using those kinda avatars.

Okaly dokaly. At the moment there's only me and another guy representing Policenauts. (He's a lurker so his name escapes me.) Before Henry wussed out on us by replacing his Tony Redwood avatar. That's right, Henry.. I remember!

My current avatar is York from Deadly Premonition/Red Seeds Profile. Off the top of my head I've also had ones for Gillian Seed from Snatcher and Ed Vincent from Last Window (Hotel Dusk 2). Had loads over the years, you sort of lose track.
