i do remeber the old forums, and when shenmue 2 came out, and when the dojo posted the ebay link for the uk import of S2 and i bought it, it shipped over here to the us the day after release in the uk, and we all had utopia and we all were playing it. at that time was probably my favorite time on the sd forums, very exciting time it was, we just learning about all the new stuff from shenmue 2 and i remember the discussions from back then were of the gods. remember that first play through of S2? or better yet, s1? damn i miss those days...

I'm glad to be back browsing the forums, but the old days were certainly the best. I still have a few of the old bunch on my MSN (which I've recently gone back to, also)

I particularly remember being on holiday in Spain with my family back in around 02, I think, making sure that I got to an internet café to check up on what was going on. I have very fond memories of JB's awards topics (Even got a few votes, ha), and most of the random topics that were around, as well as the in-depth discussion threads in the Shenmue I/II boards respectively.

I do however remember posting up about meeting some people from Yokosuka on a bus, in Dublin though. That just popped into my head.....

I think he was also under the psuedonym "Child of Dust" amond others.

i remember sleazoid, i forget what his name was before, during the 03 to 05 time period. that fuck was insane, adding him to my msn was a grave mistake, i remember when he confessed his love for jeff (the other one) lol. but some of the conversations i had with him began with him doing some sexual role play and he would randomly do it, like 1 out of 5 convos would start with that shit, after a while (when you actually start thinking hes serious) it was like ok, time to block. it was disgusting/disturbing how detailed his little one sided roleplays would be. ask anyone that talked to him on msn, straight loon.
