If they re-make Mars Attacks (which I hope they don't, as I liked the deliberately cheesy 1996 one), instead of killing them, they could make them mind readers, who stumble upon Dorian. A few minutes of reading that would have them WTF-ing and pissing off again PDQ. Probably.
