But common doesn't make it undeserving. I assert that it provides a fine base for many a smoothie whether it includes other berries or you decide to go a banana route. Blueberries have a better antioxidant value but I argue they are less versatile. And I'm certainly not bashing Raspberries and Blackberries but personally I prefer the taste of strawberry. I would, however, add all of them to a smoothie.
