How come music and art seem so much more reliable than people? I guess because art can make a stand-alone statement in one picture, or a few minutes or hours through music or film or even games, instead of a persons personality and character which consists of a lifetime worth of many complicated feelings and statements and ideas. I just seem to go back to music and art more than I do actual people, as pathetic as that may sound, and I guess thats why.

With the way my life has played out, I dont have a friend to turn to when shits bad, even if I wanted, I guess here I have some old true friends laying about but life just pulls us all in different directions. I hate being reminded of all the people that turned their backs on me, not sure what I did to the world but it sure seems to not like to give me a break. That being said, I know some day it will, it has no choice, I will make it or die in the process.

I bought my ticket to the Hobbit on Dec. 14th.

It's the 48 FPS version, the way Jackson shot it and intended to be seen. Very few theaters are showing it this way but I hope it's not shitty. I had to buy the 8AM showing cause its ABSURDLY expensive right after that. Then again, it is also IMAX 3D which I ain't stoked about. I don't want to watch a nearly three hour movie in 3D....

I want to see it at imax but I have some coupons for $2 off Regal Cinemas that I need to use before Dec. 31.

Stealing someone's line, but that video was filmed with a potato. I think that's a plausible idea that the stones were moved like that.

Gah linked before watching. Tried looking for a better version. Used to be one. The guy is a retired construction worker. He builds Stonehenge with small pebble moving several ton blocks. I think he pretty much solved it.
