Have you or any of your family members had cancer?

My sister, Tracy has had triple negative breast cancer. She went through chemotherapy which is very brutal, radiation and surgery. Cancer is a terrible disease that I wouldn't wish even on my worst enemy and I wish that it would go away.

Actually amiga, this was late 2013/late 2014. She is doing much better now. Thank you for your concern.

Just wondering if it has affected your family or not. Cancer is more common than you think.

sufficed to say, looked painful, and the treatments...

who they were as peoples, they were private, and dealt with it alone, it was bad enough to them i knew... (and wanted/asked for NO help or sympathy)
besides, depressing subject, i've lost friends to it (as many have) that's all that matters...

Not family exactly, but my long-time girlfriend has thyroid cancer and has undergone several surgeries and treatments. It's looking like the treatment was potentially successful, but we're not sure yet.

It's not something that I or she talks about much publicly, but she keeps going, trying to not let it affect her life.
