Nah was Axl who pulled out of going on Kimmel. He was the only one announced to go on.

2 nights at Coachella are the only announced show but a US stadium tour is rumoured for the summer. I imagine that this festival has paid alot of money to have them perform there first so I'm not expecting anything before then apart from maybe more dates announced for the summer.

There are rumours that they will make two new songs though...

I imagine this announcement tonight will just be the press release announcing Slash and Duff are back.

I'm guessing that's part of the reason he didn't show up on Kimmel; a few more months to lose a few more pounds.

Seen Axl with his band 13 times since 2010, while I wasn't fortunate enough to see the band back in their heyday I was lucky enough to be at the London show in 2010 where Duff made a surprise appearance, see Izzy play along with Axl at 2 London gigs in 2012, and see Duff play a full show in Buenos Aires in 2014 (was bizarre seeing him play Chinese Democracy tracks). Seen Slash with Myles Kennedy 5 times in the same time period, he was fucking amazing at Brixton Academy in 2012 and in Paris in 2014, and I really liked his last album World on Fire, though I still prefer Chinese Democracy. I'm really hoping we get at least a couple of new tracks from Axl & Slash.

^Honestly if he was wearing better fitting clothes that photo would look 1000x better. Based on photos from the last shows he's hardly fat but when a celebrity puts on 10 pounds apparently they're as big as the sun.

Been too see GNR 4 times myself but this time I'm going to go as much as possible.

1st weekend of Coachella already sold out, 2nd will be soon. Wonder if we'll get announcements of any other tour dates soon or if we'll have to wait until after Coachella...

If I was a promoter I'd be announcing tour dates pretty quickly. You'll sell tickets on the initial hype and then if the Coachella performance get's positive press you'll get a second wind with sales. Festivals that take place in the summer also won't be happy to wait until mid April to announce their headliner. Reading festival seems to be one of the favourites at the bookies and they normally finishing announcing headliners by about February. I also have a reason to believe they may hit the main stage at Glastonbury...

Now that all the Coachella tickets have sold out I doubt they care what Guns say since people won't be able to get a refund should they decide they want to go to a different show instead.

I'm still praying for a Vegas warm-up show as was rumoured for the 8th, my birthday's the 6th of April and if they can squeeze in a date there before the Coachella gigs I'd be over the moon.

I'm 50/50 on if they will do any warm up shows. They didn't do one for the last Rock in Rio and there are rumours of them hitting the new arena in Vegas so doubt they would hit up a show there before.

I was in the queue for tickets but after having spent so much on the Shenmue Kickstarter I really don't have the cash. Tickets are $300-400, then flights'd be £500-600... If I had a bit more money in my account I'd consider it, but I'll wait until the general sale on Saturday before I make a final decision.

If I do go, would you consider splitting an AirBNB?

^I'd advise talking to the US embassy. I know someone who has a criminal record for carrying coke on him and he just had to go to London for an interview and they let him in no problem.

As for sharing an Airbnb if I decide to go to Vegas I'll be going in style to a place on the strip.
